"Great hotel. Small room but had everything we needed and very modern. Not enough staff at breakfast time but those working did their very best. Would have been lots of choice if they could keep up with the top ups but some greedy people took more than they needed which meant things ran out quickly. Was an extremely busy weekend. We would definitely stay again when in the area. Lovely bar. Didn’t use leisure facilities. Nice addition having a Starbucks on site. "

"Overall experience was good except for the extra cot they had put in the family room. Only because it was supposed to be used by a kid they probably thought of leaving it uncomfortable. The mattress on the cot was so so horrible each and every spring in that created a bump and that bump was felt terribly on the back even a kid could not sleep on it. "

"Characterful property in open countryside with good free parking. A car is needed for getting about as no immediate public transport (40 minute walk to nearest bus stop). Set in lovely grounds with seating outside for warmer days and plenty inside when it isn't so nice. Large room with bath and shower though minmal sockets and not near bed. Good for relaxing and not being distracted by phones. There was an event on the evening we stayed but music stopped by 11pm. Great for a relaxing break. "
