Wonderful Stay
Super restaurant with wholesome food. Really lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Great freshly cooked breakfasts and exceptionally kind and helpful owner/ manager.

Anniversary Trip
It was a last minute place to pick for an overnight stay. Friendly place and nice breakfast, Room was clean with no issues and had tea and coffee to make. Got a decent sleep as very quiet road surroundings.

Spent our Ruby wedding anniversary night here. The room was lovely and clean and had good variety of teas, coffee and other hot drinks. Had free bottled water in a fridge on the landing. The bathroom was immaculate which I feel is very important. Bedding crisp and clean too. Perfect room. The food in the bar was delicious and the full English breakfast was just what it says. FULL ! There was no menu you could have anything you wanted from fruit to eggs to toast and any combination. The landlord is a lovely guy, friendly, chatty and helpful. If you’re in this area I would highly recommend this lovely place to stay.

Good location for our visit to Chartwell next day, but had some difficulty locating the proprietor. Also, our room was up a flight of stairs difficult for 65 adults to access. Location was a destination for locals, which made for some increased noise. Proprietor did help with our luggage.

We chose the hotel as it’s conveniently situated to visit Biggin Hill Spitfire experience.We could not have chosen better, the hotel and the restaurant were perfect, we could not fault the hotel and the food was excellent. We will definitely return.

Quiet Village Location
Friendly owner, nice atmosphere and details like honour bar in each corridor. My mattress was very soft, not really to my liking. Also I think some of the carpets require professional cleaning. Unfortunately I left too early to sample the cooked breakfast but I was left a nice takeaway breakfast which was appreciated as it was arranged at short notice.

Great Little Place to Stop Over At
Great little hotel. Stayed DB&B. Hospitality good, food excellent. On site parking. Gardens rooms probably quietest. Amenities all in place, or readily available and very flexible about arrival times. The overall cleanliness is very good, but they do need the new carpets they said where soon to be laid (I bet they looked stunning when first put down, but colour maybe not the best choice for high traffic areas!). No hesitation about recommending.

Rooms were lovely had everything for a short or long stay. Perfectly situated to explore the area with lots to do and see. Restaurant light and airy with good food, full English breakfast to start the day off. Host and staff were lovely. Highly recommended

Super weekend stay in a super place
We were very pleasantly surprised by the Bakery. Its a lovely building with modern, attractively designed bedrooms and public areas. Service was very attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived and parked in the private car park. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before we left, which was just what we needed to set us up for the day. We will definitely stay at the Bakery again! Thank you very much.

Lovely place in Tatsfield, just north of The Pilgrim's Way, which we were walking. Small, but comfortable accommodation. We were lucky enough to turn up on the same day as the annual Tatsfield Beer Festival, which we hadn't planned for, but was a great day, with beer, food and bands. Ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The breakfast, in particular, was great. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely overnight stay, clean and comfortable with very good service from owner. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. Found ordering system of breakfast choices limiting but other than that faultless.

Had a wonderful room in this boutique hotel attached to a restaurant. Dinner was great as was the breakfast. The proprietor is very friendly and accommodating. In a quiet town, but close to many historic sites.

Lovely hotel and restaurant, in a very pleasant setting. The food was well prepared and presented, staff friendly, and the decor interesting. Andrew the owner even got up early to make us breakfast because we had to leave by 7.30. Will stay there again.
