I enjoyed my stay at this place overall. Very well kept and clean rooms. Staff is very friendly. You can walk to get food cause it’s a small town. Very close to provincial park that has swimming and playground areas for families. Also they have a nice lounge area plus breakfast. My only frustration was that it wasn’t as quiet as I wanted cause there is a train that goes by there every hour just one block away. Definitely recommend this place to stay though.

We booked this hotel simply because it was the only option for the area. The gentleman that worked there was friendly and asked that we come see him if we needed anything. That was great, however the smell of the room was unbearable. I’m not sure if it was mold, filth or what, but we could smell it before we even had the door fully open. We didn’t have the heart to tell the nice gentleman how terrible it was and simply turned around and left without refund. Perhaps not all the rooms had this odour, but our experience was not pleasant. Thankfully, our friends were able to accommodate us for our stay.

If you brought your concern I could have solve best way I could have before you check out . You didn't give us chance to correct.please bring your concerns to front desk and let them handle. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, staff friendly, grounds are clean and the town is cute. As negative as this review might sound, it's more of a fyi. We would stay again. What they don't tell you is that they are next to (well the whole town is) the railway and at nighttime it is very busy. We had our window open for air and for the most part it wasn't too bad. The rooms were clean but very dated and the fridge was horribly loud during the night. We were a door or two down from the hospitality suite. Horrible location if you want quiet. Yes our window was open but this room was by the stairs and hospitality door and you heard EVERYONE walking by. Forget trying to sleep in. It's like being next to the room by the elevator after the bar closes. The hospitality room in not handicapped accessible. You have to climb two flights of stairs to get to it. You also don't get any housekeeping while you are there. We stayed 3 nights and not once did anyone come in. Personally, we don't usually have housekeeping but for others this might be a big deal.

Only thing was stains on chairs, rugs.. due to it being old furniture… beds were coming but nosey which means old too… breakfast is basic waffles, cereal and oatmeal… just needs updates other then that the women that is there 24/7 is amazing and I would highly consider using this hotel again.

Our stay was good, but the only thing I didn’t like is that the worker would raise his voice at our children when they were being kids. They would get a little to excited because it was a new place. They’re was 7 of them between 2 rooms and between 0-10 so yes it going to get a little loud at times. But please leave it to us the parents to deal with them.

Good value for the money. Clean and comfortable bed with soft sheets. AC was not working consistently. Could use curtains, as light came in through the edges of the blinds. Breakfast was decent. Overall a good place to stay for the area.

I know you are not happy because we charge you pet fee which we advertise on Expedia site . That is why you put negative review. But I showed your review to my house keeper . When you travel to smaller communities, there is always a sense of wariness about the accommodations you will find. Set aside your wariness when travelling to Wabamun as the Shoreside Inn & Suites is an excellent facility in the world of small town motels. The rooms are very clean, well looked after and very well equipped - ours had a "real" fridge with freezer, a microwave and coffee maker. to my wife's enjoyment, the bathroom has a soaker tub and hot water was never an issue. The motel is centrally located, so virtually everything in town is within a short walk. The staff are friendly, but not overbearing and the breakfast room is very roomy and provides a number of options for breakfast. The manager and internet sites warned of the noise of very consistent trains running through town and near the motel, but my wife and I did not find it to be as noisy as advertised. A great stay.

Very cozy stay everytime I have come to Wabamun. Comfy beds and spacious rooms, which are well equiped. I really appreciated the hosts attention to my stay here, and he was able to change last minute booking dates in short notice.

The staff was friendly the rooms were clean and quiet. The only complaint I have was the breakfast was pretty disappointing, cereal was almost all gone just the crumbs in the bottom of all but one and no sugar. Other than the breaky it was a great stay.
