Just inside the city walls, its near everything you want to visit but in a residential area. The central courtyard offers a place to relax after a day of travel. Delicious gluten free bread was available at breakfast as was a selection of local honey and jam. Great choice for a visit to Avignon!

The property is very clean. The room is spacious and renovated. The staff is vey friendly. The property is close to old city. The only downside was is single beds were vary narrow and not comfortable to sleep.

Room was on small side but had everything we needed and was quiet. AC worked great. Bathroom was decent size and had good hot water and water pressure. Plenty of towels. Front desk attendant was very helpful regarding directions on multiple occasions. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and some fresh fruit. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly comfortable hotel
A very pleasant room, spotlessly clean and comfortable. However, being next door to the reception and breakfast area it was noisy quite early in the mornings. In the evenings people passed right by my door and their conversation was a disturbance. That being said, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I would visit again, but request a different room.

We loved the quiet of the courtyard. After a lot of walking it was nice to sit in the courtyard, have a relaxed charcuterie dinner (purchased at Les Halles), instead of sitting on a bed in the room! It would be nice if they had wine glasses, or even glass tumblers and a corkscrew in the room but we were able to get some supplies from the breakfast area with assistance from the front desk. Storage of our suitcases was excellent and effortless. Would book again!

Friendly, good value hotel
Hotel was great, staff super friendly. Location was good as well... We found street parking 5mn away and only 10 mn walk to the heart of the old town. Breakfast was tasty and good value. We would stay here again.

Loved this property and would easily stay here again. The staff is SO friendly and accommodating. The rooms are all centered around a beautiful courtyard where you can sit under an olive tree with a coffee or glass of wine. The hotel was also very easy to get to and to get around the city. Loved my stay!! Thank you!

The hotel was fine. The lady who checked us in the first day seemed impatient and disinterested, but the woman who checked us out was kind and friendly. Brrakfast was fine, but nothing special. Rooms were decent with a desk, bed, night tables, and en suite. The shower was wonderful, but the toilet was VERY close to the wall.

This gem was a pleasant surprise.
Really lovely, small hotel on the edge of the old town, within easy walking distance of all the main tourist sites and retail areas. Our room had direct access on to the decked courtyard and was quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, serving drinks in the courtyard at any time of the day or evening. The buffet breakfast was good, plenty of choice and 'eat as much as you want'. Definitely making a return visit next year.

Don't judge a book by it's cover!
This hotel is so disappointing in appearance from the road, we nearly did not go inside! It is a horrible looking building. But inside the reception was friendly, it was nice. The room was basic, but comfortable enough and warm enough with the aircon on. It is shabby though, in that the door needs replacing and it not double glazed. The courtyard must be nice in summer. Breakfasts were good. Good situation.

Convenient to train station and to main office for Festival d'Avignon. Not the most central but in an interesting area on its own - many of the theaters are right here. I usually don't stay in 2 star hotels so facilities were not up to my usual standards but they probably were fine for this price point. Staff was friendly. Didn't have breakfast but looked nice to have it in courtyard (but I would say the courtyard was not as nice as it looked in photos - too much concrete).

Clean, nice location away from the tourist crowd but a 5 minute walk to a lively little square with lots of restaurants and cafes. Desk staff very warm and helpful. Room was cl2an and modern but quite cramped and any noise in the corridor felt like it was right in your room.

We came to Avignon from Paris by train. Le Magnan is very convenient to the station, an easy10-minute walk. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The 9 Euro breakfast buffet had lots of variety from good fresh bread to protein to fruit. A lovely sheltered courtyard and it's ok to bring a picnic there in the evening. Cute clean room, comfortable bed, new bathroom. Inside the old City wall, so walking the city was not at all difficult. Wonderful place to stay.

Overall not bad considering it is two star.
There was mould and some squirky smell in the bathroom. Stain in the chair and mosquito in the curtain never cleaned during my four days sleep, which by the way I did not made.

Just a stop over. Very easy of access by bus 10 friom TGV station inside the wall. Most helpful staff.Lovely courtyard for breakfast or resting. Careful Sunday transport is near inexistant inside the wall. Make sure you reserve dinner if u want l’atelier or Bocage. Excellent standard for a 2 stars hotel.

The Magnan was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for Avignon making the city easy to navigate, and with virtually everything you need close at hand. We enjoyed our stay there.

This is a charming hotel in a great position for access to the town and convenient for the Railway station. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and we had an excellent shower room. There is a beautiful enclosed courtyard where you can eat breakfast, take coffee or just enjoy the day. The only small problem we encountered was that you could hear through the obviously thin walls. A little annoying when other guests decide to take a shower at 5.45 am and you can hear the running water, doors closing etc. But all in all we had a great stay and would stay there again.

Good basic hotel
Comfortable hotel. Helpful staff and warm room as it was freezing outside. I should imagine the outside space is lovely in summer. Difficult and expensive to park in Avignon but we managed to secure one of the few parking spaces the hotel has. Can’t comment on breakfast but would have appreciated some tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
