To start, the building looks like it could be a hunted mansion. The property was very dirty and lacking any attention. The garbage cans were overflowing and scattered nearby. The building is dated and not worth the $$$. The pool was gross with full of hair. The walls of the elevator were all written on and marked up. The building finishes are all mismatched and worn and in dyer need of repairs. The rooms were a bit better than I expected from the look of the building. The room was fairly clean. The carpet was torn and a large fold in it from the door to the back window. All the lights were unplugged and flickered once I turned them on. The TV screen was spotty and reminded me of TV in the 90s. There are no USB ports so remember your own connector. The bathroom was functional, complete with a T-Bar (knock down) ceiling. But, the shower was great with lots of pressure and hot water. Needless to say, this will be my first and last stay here. But if you’re strapped for a hotel and this is your last option, it will do but don’t expect to like it.

I stayed here with my child and my best friend, we had a super easy check-in/check-out, the staff were friendly. At the time of booking I wasn’t injured, but before my trip I ended up on a knee scooter. Our room was wide enough that I could move around easily, and there are enough parking spaces close to the door that we were able to score a good spot (no disability sticker, I did not park there, but there were plenty of spaces.) A lot of comments say negative feedback, but we had a nice stay; my only complaint is that you hear every plane landing/taking-off at YVR.

The front lobby was worn out and dirty. The carpet was filthy and the furniture was old and worn out. We arrived to check in at 1:30 am and desk clerk told us that we couldn’t check in until 3:00 pm, at that time I realized I had made a mistake on the reservation date. The clerk was unsympathetic and said that the hotel was sold out and that we could not check in. Then in the next sentence the clerk stated that he could check us in but we would have to pay for the room in full again, even though we had already paid. To say I was shocked was an understatement. I tried to reason with the clerk and all he said was you can call my Manager. I tried to discuss a solution, but he wasn’t interested in helping. Having paid for a room that we were refused, we left and found a new hotel. The clerk could have checked us in since it was so late at night knowing we would still check out at the regular time and we had already paid, but he refused to provide a reasonable solution. We will NEVER, book or stay at the Travel Lodge Wyndham due to this poor treatment. They got our money, without providing a service. Good for you Travel Lodge.

i Like the location its near and the airport because we need to sleep from lay over back to Saskatoon.but i accidentally check the duvet the gray one i feel its dirty and they have 1 hair because i compare the left bed and its clean..hope next time be sure that always change and clean the bedding..but i appreciate the morning breakfast snack

BIG NOOO !!!! What a garbage! Not kid or any person friendly !!! Our room was dirtiest and despite a great view it had the dirtiest window I’ve ever seen. Also the curtains had stains so you don’t want to touch them. The bed was smelling aweful & the bathroom was disgusting. The sink was dirty & had rusting on it. The bed had a lamp which was so old & dirty plus there was no cable extension. The carpet in the room was dirty with wet damps & dark spots on it. You wouloeven want to step on it without shoes. was an extension cord and hard to get at. The lifts has scribbles on it. The manager was the most arrogant & unorganized person. He didn’t bother. We checked in & checked out the same day after 1 hour since we had a small baby we didn’t want to keep her in an unhygienic place. But the manager didn’t bother to ask why we were checking out or if everything was okay! We’ll never return!!! Also we lost our 200$ but atleast we went & stayed somewhere else which was almost the same price but a clean place behind this hotel the sandman. We did this booking through expedia because they didn’t have proper reviews but I shall never consider this hotel chain again.

This property doesn’t match the pictures. Outdated but would be a great haunted hotel. The floating debree in the hot tub was something special. The socks and garbage from previous guest left in room under bed was an extra gift. Mold on windows lovely.

There was nothing good about the stay. Dirty, bugs, old and worn building, elevator, rooms look like they need a fresh everything including sanitizer. Marks and stains on the walls. The gym is a treadmill in what was probably an office. It didn’t even work when I stayed there. Breakfast is a juice box, apple and a nutrigrain bar in a paper bag you’ll need to ask for at the front desk. This building smells of smoke all over as they still allow smoking in some rooms. There is zero reason to stay here.

This hotel is dated and dirty. It also has no airport shuttle despite advertising it does. We requested a nonsmoking room and had to change rooms three times because the rooms were so smoky. The front desk staff were very accommodating and the poor rating is no reflection of customer service.

Sad being a non smoker and I had to stay on the 5th floor because it was cheaper, as a late check in from Puerta Vallarta and a very early check out i felt robbed for what i had to pay for the room for about 6 hours. Front desk employee said non smoking is more expensive! 20.00 or 30.00 more but showed no interest in offering a different room seemed inconvenient! More of a bother

The entire Hotel smelled bad we walked into our room to find the window on the 7th Floor wide open no screen I went over to the curtains pulled the back to close the window to find dirty socks and belongings from the last guests filthy under the bed there is no way those beds were freshly made the sheets and pillowcases wrinkled and it looked like they were simply smoothed out from the last guest. If it wasn't so late at night and we didn't have our grandchildren with us we would have left but we were too exhausted from travel there was silverfish in the bathroom the TV didn't work properly the vending machines were empty. There was no shuttle even though it's advertised on some sites that was fine we took a cab we woke up extremely in the early in the morning and got out of there. We are absolutely shocked that this is a Wyndham Hotel usually they're good this is disgusting and I really don't think they care the curtains were stained the walls were dirty the wallpaper was ripped the lampshade was ripped I'm pretty sure if we leaned up against the wall in the bathroom we would have stuck there. Don't waste your money don't waste your time it's horrible

The rooms were in horrible condition, the carpets were very dirty and dust bunnies and dirt were piled up over whole carpet. Couldn’t get the plug to stay in the tub to have a bath, room smelled horrible of smoke. I couldn’t take my shoes off in the room for fear of the grime. Two light bulbs were missing and a very dark room. Also the window over the screen was falling off and I couldn’t get it back on. For that I spent 210.00 of my hard earned money. Shame on you!

Old, dirty, room smelled horribly of cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. Wouldnt move us. Pool heater was broken so water was ice cold. Carpet in room was filthy, bedding smelled like animals and smoke.

Hotel had canceled their airport shuttle a year before but it had not reflected the change on website directly. Also changed breakfast to a grab&go bag...too full of sugar items. Staff was friendly, but TV signal kept going off and on during our one night stay....frustrating.

Smoking rooms should be advertised better. Like, full caps on the site. That was a health hazard and that entire floor should be burned and saged. Also had a huge spider in my shower and hair on the floor. Also, a boom box from the early 2000’s? What a strange place. Lesson learned. Never again. Sandman is the better option.
