For a high end hotel, it didn’t really feel that way. It lacked in all ways. It feels very outdated and you feel lost when you walk in- does not have a welcoming feel, and the staff disappear. Hotel rooms were nice and clean, but I still cannot believe they have double beds not queen beds. A kettle would have been nice too. It just didn’t have a special feel. I’ve stayed in higher end hotels and lower end hotels, but this one didn’t have much of anything memorable.

I thought I was in the wrong hotel when I first checked in, and I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's grandeur compared to what I paid for one night. I selected this hotel because it has a third-party shuttle service to Whistler, but I would stay here during a "normal" visit because of its proximity to public transit and the decently-sized room.

The bar was lovely and the staff was wonderful. The room was supposed to be a junior suite that slept 3 however it was not so we had to get a rollaway

The location is great, very close to good reataurants nearby and cafes, also good to have two train stations nearby, we ended up not renting a car but take public transit and Uber taxis

Room was very nice. Gym was clean and well maintained. Service was limited. No turn down service, no ice machines except on the 4th floor (guessing they want to sell $6.50 water bottles), no visible security (anyone can get to any floor without a room key).
