The staff were very friendly & theroomwas a good size. The parking was easy & the walk to town looked horrendous but was actually fine! Best breakfast in a long time ! Beautiful views !

Lovely hotel just outside of the city, located in a perfect position for visiting the sites in the region. Would definitely return to Aosta and Le Charaban. Also, the hotel restaurant was excellent!

The best restaurant in Aosta with exquisite cuisine based on locally sourced products. Impeccable and extremely comfortable rooms. Warm welcome by the staff, always extremely kind. We cannot recommend tius hotel enough!

Highly Recommend
We did not know what to expect, but were very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful place. Large comfortable rooms and easy on site parking. Breakfast was excellent and they even made eggs to order. The on-site restaurant had the best fondue and chateaubriand. Loved the hotel and the city Aosta.

Little Jewel
Le Charaban was the jewel in the crown of our three week road trip! A beautiful hotel in a fantastic place with mega fantastic hosts! We ate dinner there having all regional dishes, fantastic!

A real find.
This is an excellent hotel. I think it is family run, not part of a chain, and it shows. The staff are very helpful and caring. Standards of cleanliness are exemplary. The room is spacious with all the facilities needed, including tea and coffee making and refrigerator. The restaurant is high quality with superbly cooked food including regional delicacies. The hotel is very convenient to the motorway and has splendid mountain views.

Lovely, well managed hotel. Good restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is family run and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and I've rarely stayed in a ski resort hotel where the showers worked properly but the showers here were as good as at home. Breakfast was continental, but we asked for boiled eggs which were provided at no extra cost. We noticed that other guests were having scrambled eggs and bacon. I would definitely go there again. In fact, if we ski in the same resort next year we will definitely use this hotel again.

Great place in the mountains!
I was totally surprised to find this super little hotel in pretty Aosta. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and very clean, the location is perfect (nice views to the surrounding mountains). For me it's the little details that always matter: extra large bath towels, a tea kettle in the room, slippers, and (I know this is silly) but a great little sturdy table just for the suitcase. Why doesn't every hotel room have a sturdy place to place your suitcase?? Highly recommend Le Charaban!

Very highly recommended
Friendly, efficient and comfortable with the added bonus of an excellent restaurant serving local and regional cuisine to a very high standard. The grilled vegetables and soup of castangne and porri were absolutely exceptional. I will certainly return next time I need to stay in the Val d’Aosta.

Great location, great breakfast
We stayed one night, on the way from Geneva to Italy, June 2014. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. Easy to find the hotel, plenty of parking space, free wifi. The view from the hotel was so beautiful. I would recommend the hotel to my friends if they travel around that area.

Very nice hotel. Staff were very attentive and room was perfect for us. We had a family room which was actually two rooms joined by an entrance hallway and was ideal for a family of four like ourselves. Lovely mountain view from the room window also. Good breakfast. Wouldn't have minded staying there a couple of days especially for some skiing.

Stayed here overnight on journey from South of France to UK. The only drawback was the distance from Aosta town centre - about 2km and 500 ft up! Had to drive into town for our evening meal as we couldn't face the climb back. The hotel itself was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful, good breakfast with great coffee. Views from our room and from the breakfast room were superb.

It is a delightful place. The couple who operate it are most pleasant and helpful. There a re beautiful views of the surrounding area. I would definitely stay there again.

Un séjour de rêve
Très bien placé pour visiter la vallée d'Aoste, cet hôtel familial 3* à taille humaine s'est révélé pour nous idéal pour y loger une mini semaine. Calme, propreté des lieux, tout le confort moderne, parking sur place, très bon petit déjeuner et restaurant gastronomique sur place le soir.....le tout en plus avec une constante gentillesse de toute l équipe présente avec discrétion.

Hôtel situé dans un magnifique environnement. Même si la chambre et le coin toilette sont un peu étroits, l'établissement est à la fois raffiné, convivial et particulièrement agréable. Le restaurant est fin et savoureux servi par un personnel mettant en valeur les produits locaux dans un ambiance complice.

Hotel perfetto! Camera e bagno spazioso, accoglienti, caldo e ben arredati. Personale gentile è sempre disponibile. Colazione eccellente, completa e abbondante. Posizione molto comoda, a 5 min in macchina dal centro di Aosta. Assolutamente consigliato!

L'hotel si trova in una collina sopra Aosta a 5 minuti di auto dal centro citta. Immagino si possa raggiungere anche a piedi in una 20ina di minuti ma la strada di ritorno sarebbe davvero in salita. La struttura è fornita di bar, ristorante, ottimo se si vuole restare in hotel. Eccellente la pulizia. Camera un po datata e qualche manutenzione da attenzionare. Colazione okay ma migliorabile la qualità dei prodotti (salumi e torte).

Bien situé au calme, service impeccable, patrons et employés très disponible et aimable. Notre séjour a été très agréable, cuisine impeccable chaque repas a été une fête pour les papilles . Le petit déjeuné est bien avec de bons produits frais. On se sentais à l’aise comme à la maison.
