Excellent Stay - Nice Property and Courteous Staff
First stayed at this hotel back in 2012. Was a brand new hotel then. Everything from rooms to the food was exceptional. The staff was polite and responsive too. Well, a few years passed and I never visited Vadodara. However, due to business needs, I had to visit the city again. I remembered my previous stay which was really good and booked the hotel again. So how was it after 6 years? Very well maintained!!! Service at the restaurant was excellent - the staff is extremely well-trained. Other hotel staff was very responsive and polite too. I visited the hotel in March 2018 and then stayed once again in April 2018. Both times I was given a different room (both were club rooms booked with a major meal and breakfast inclusive package). Very clean rooms, bathrooms well maintained, 24 hrs supply of hot water, a good mini bar, Biotique range of toiletries. The hotel did not have any foul smells either. Very clean beds and linen. Dinner and breakfast buffet were really good. Did not use the gym but saw it and was really good. The restaurant manager is very good in servicing the guests and has a well-trained team. Parking area is limited but the hotel manages it well. I would surely recommend this hotel and keep coming back again whenever I need to stay in Vadodara - this was my 3rd stay at the hotel in 4 months.

Great value for money.
Hotel (4 star)provides stay and comfort in budget of 2/3 star. I stayed there with my family And had good time there. The room have all amenitiesand the staff is down to earth. They don't charge for kids.

Room was small but clean. Noise from some party/event was very high and your. That too into the night. Would not recommend, if you are a light sleeper like me. Food was ok.

Great value hotel. A few small touches needed
While my stay overall was pretty good, the hotel feels closer to being a 3 star property than a 4 star. The bed and bed linen were both very comfortable. Food in the restaurant also pretty decent though since this is gujurat be prepared for the general sweet slant to most things. The staff are quite helpful like most places in gujurat and hotels is very good value for the price. Areas for improvement for it to earn the 4th star: Put enough hangers in every room. We only had one and had to ask for more. There was then something not quite right about the ventilation system as smell of cigarette smoke seemed to be wafting into the room from some of the smoking rooms. Something to check if you are overly sensitive to smell of smoke. Toiletries were not replenished though if you use your own like many people not a biggie. Restaurant chairs not a practical design. And finally all their functions rooms are on a mezzanine floor. If you happen to be staying there on a night someone is having a loud music party, you will be impacted by both sound and vibrations from the bass woofers!

The stay was good as the rooms are lovely but the staff is not as approachable as expected, also the breakfast and the dinner buffet which we separately took was just fairly ok. So ideally for any hotel to do well needs to have the best rooms and food.

Curry stains on bedspread
Check process was slow. We had a confirmation from the hotel that our rooms would be on top floor and allocated next to each other. When we presented the printout, we were told that they didn't have rooms next to each other. We had to wait till our rooms were cleaned. When we walked in & did a general inspection, there were curry stains on our bedspead. We called the manager & the cleaner who confirmed in front of the manager that he did not change the bedspead. Manager was embarrased and couldn't stop apologising. The room was stinking of smoke. After 40 minutes we were moved to the second floor while our family members were on 4th floor. We were given complimentary dinner for the inconvinience caused. I would rather pay double the price for dinner rather than having such a bad experience.

Nice hotel and pleasant staff, however would not book again due to a couple of issues: 1. We requested a baby cot prior to our stay (by telephone) and were assured that this will be in place. No cot in the room when we arrived and none available - had to make do with an additional bed and pillows to cushion. 2. The double glazing is not efficient (insufficient rubber lining) and lots of noise/unpleasant odours permeated through. Hence difficult to sleep at night.

Though the hotel is new, clean well furnished - all the charm is marred by the lousy service at the reception desk. I had prepaid hotel coupon, and still while checking out I was informed that your stay is not prepaid! They issued the invoice and asked me to pay (again)!! Finally they could find the voucher I had given them while check-in. Worst service with no trace of regret on the face. Lousy breakfast. Not worth staying here.

This is a low cost hotel with decent beds and bathrooms and furnishings. All fairly new and OK for a couple of nights stay. They don't have true non-smoking rooms and told me they just take the ashtrays out and clean them more before non-smoking guests arrive when I complained of the smell (smoke soaks into curtains and soft furnishings). The rooms have minimal soundproofing and your can hear the traffic sounds even on the 4th floor along with people in the corridor and the next rooms TV. That said, the price really is good and overall cleanliness, service, room condition and location are all reasonable to pretty good for this town. I'll try somewhere else next time but may well end up back here if it is not better.
