I loved how peaceful our trip was! We stayed in the forest cabin and it was perfect. Such a beautiful experience for my birthday weekend and everyone was so welcoming and the environment felt safe and was clean. Thank you!! We will definitely be back.

Pros: The location is excellent. It's a short walk down to a stunning beach that feels almost private and a short drive into Ucluelet. Parking is easy and close. Cons: We stayed in the "Rainforest Cabins" and the first thing we noticed was that there are no doors to the bedrooms. You can hear anything and everything. Also, the stairs to each of the three levels are so steep and slippery that we had several near accidents. The stairs/no-doors design is clearly done for aesthetic rather than functionality. The living area is cute, but with only one small couch, it's not very comfortable/functional for a group. If they had made a wrap-around/square spiral stairs in the corner, they could have solved all of these issues - more room for another/bigger couch in the living space, less dangerous stairs, and doors on the bedrooms. Also, something else to note because it's not clear in the pictures - the upstairs bathroom does not have a full ceiling, meaning anyone in the living area below can hear anything happening in that bathroom. Lastly, we had a door code instead of a key, which was convenient, however the code seemed super generic and similar to our cabin number, and if we had wanted to, we probably could have tried the same code on other cabins with their cabin number and gotten in. They need to make the door codes a little less generic.

Loved Ucluelet! Our experience overall was wonderful. Our master bedroom bed wasn’t the comfiest and the tvs were very small for the size of the room but we’d absolutely stay with the cabins again!

The Cabin website is quite misleading if you don’t dig into the finer detail - we stayed in one of the rooms in the main lodge and were expecting some sort of kitchen facility so that we could be independent wrt catering for ourselves. However, we found that the room only had tea/coffee making facilities. There was a very large, beautifully furnished common room that had some sort of kitchenette, but with only a sink and cloths/tea towel available. It would have made a massive difference if this kitchenette had a microwave and a toaster so that people can have access to some kind of self catering facility.

The property and cabins are excellent. Super solid and beautiful construction. The land is beautiful with a very nice walk/hike just minutes away near the lighthouse. The only issue was interior noise. We had kids and quite a few people in the two cabins we were in and with the open floor plan and wood steps/floors, noise traveled and kept those who wanted to sleep awake just from talking or walking around.

The cabin is clean and nice. We have a great time. The beach is just close to walk with an awesome view. The cabin is complete with kitchen and bath supplies but it is missing scouring pads to clean the pots and pans. Other than this everything is perfect. We will definitely recommend this property.

Loved the view even thought it wasn't ocean, it was still beautiful ❤️ the only problem I had was feeling super cold, the thermostat on the heater had stated it was at 20°f so for many people that will be fairly comfortable. Sadly not for my body. ( I hate it) . However the only thing was is the heater and the fire place were not warm enough.

Beautiful location and brand new facility. Only comment I make is regarding parking for cabins that house 6 people there may be 2 vehicles to park but really only 1 spot is allocated.

The cabin was set in the woods where you could hear the ocean waves on the beach. It has all the cooking necessities and a bbq on the deck. An open plan so sound carries to all levels. Otherwise it was a place I will book again.

Yes the Starboard Cabins are loft style open concept timber frame cabins and sound does travel throughout. We do manage rentals with closing doors and the sound doesn't travel through those cabins as much! Great getaway.
Seld check-in and self checkout, did not see any employees during our 2 nights stay. Room is clean and stocked with basic essentials. There is a small secluded beach only accessible through the resort. And a beautiful oceanfront trail just 2 minutes drive away. I always love staying in log cabins so 5 stars.
