Tokyu Stay Meguro Yutenji was home to us for almost 3 weeks and we were very happy with the experience. The rooms were slightly larger than those of other Tokyo hotels we’ve stayed in the past, we enjoyed the daily free coffee and hot chocolate, the lobby was small but charming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Another aspect of this property we loved was the location. The quiet residential neighborhood was a big plus and there were a number of convenience stores, good restaurants, even shops in the immediate area. It was also conveniently located just minutes from Yutenji station. Definitely on our list of nice places to stay when in Tokyo.

Pretty clean, cozy. Super cost-effective these days. Equipments and home appliances were very useful (Thanks to the washing machine that provides dry feature I didn't have to go to coin laundry.) One nitpick: Wi-Fi is not super fast (~ 10Mbps usually). Please take that into account. However I would visit the hotel again if there are any second chances.

The hotel itself is ok. Comfortable but a little tight by American Standards. I was good by myself, but if there were 2, even as a couple, it would have been tight. There's a washing machine and dryer but it takes 6 hours to do a load and it still wasn't dry. Fortunately, there's a balcony and it was a sunny day so some things air dried. You rent movies by buying a code card in the hallway but otherwise the TV was good (except CNN is dubbed in Japanese during the day). Staff was very nice and helpful. They called a taxi for me and offered to help with my luggage, but I took it myself. For a comfortable, inexpensive and convenient hotel, this was perfect.

18 night stay that felt like home
Great value for the quality of service and cleanliness! Extras like free coffee in the lobby, in room laundry (with one free laundry detergent pack each night you stay), access to shipping boxes (with duct tape), and free trolley hire all made our stay very convenient. Four convenient stores, Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, Coco Ichibanya, Japan Post and most importantly, Yutenji Station are all within 5min walk of hotel. One vending machine in the building, with ice dispenser so you can make iced drinks. Cherry on top was 24 hour English speaking concierge with the friendliest and most professional service. Highly recommend, will definitely stay again.

Convenient location, comfortable stay
My check-in was pleasant and easy as I was greeted by a friendly English-speaking concierge. Our room was relatively spacious compared to other Tokyo locations and featured a western-style bathroom (toilet, sink and shower in the same room). The toiletries were well-stocked, and there were extra items like nail clippers available for rental from the front desk. The location was only a couple of blocks away from the Yutenji rail station, which has a very nice supermarket (Tokyu Store) located within it for convenience. There were a few nice cafes and restaurants close by as well, and Shibuya, Daikanyama & Nakameguro stations were only a few minutes away on the Toyoko Line. Great location.

Lovely hotel with nice amenities! They had a tea/coffee/cocoa machine in the lobby. And I had a washer and kitchenette in my room. There's a grocery store right around the corner so I had a few meals I made myself in the hotel. The train (Yutenji stop) is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Great location as it’s in a nice quiet residential area, but still close enough to all the action in Tokyo. Yutenji rail station is only 3 stops from Shibuya hub terminal, and from there you can get to literally anywhere in Tokyo. Plenty of nice places to eat around the hotel, and even a 24 hour Deny’s less than a 8 min walk, and the tokyu grocery store is open till 1am if you want some beer or snacks for the hotel.

yutenji...the perfect base for Tokyo
Tokyu stay yutenji is a perfect base to explore Tokyo. rooms are small but adequate, clean and modern, I would definitely stay again! The hotel is one minute walk from the station, bars and restaurants, in a quieter part of Tokyo.

The hotel is just a 5-min walk to the Yutenji station, the room is clean and the bed is large when comparing to the same level of hotels in Japan. Also, there are many electronic equitments in the room, you can cook and wash clothes. The staff are nice and it would be perfect if the price is lower!

Wonderful hotel in Yutenji. Our double room was small, but that is to be expected in Japan. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay: kitchenette, washer/dryer, air conditioning, robes, comfortable bed. The place has a cozy neighborhood feel to it. Most staff spoke English very well. We will stay there again for sure.

nice clean hotel
the room was more spacious than other Japanese hotels in this price, very new and clean, not every front desk staff can speak english, less than 5 mins walk to the station with a big supermarket, however not much to do in the local area, nakameguro is not exactly closeby, hotel staff didnt recommend me walking there, the hotel is good value
