Parking was expensive, and it was their own parking. Rooms are OK, needs updates but are fine, shower is very uncomfortable and there was an annoying notice in the room. No air conditioning but windows open easily, beds were comfortable and breakfast was good.

The beds arecomfortable and the staff are friendly with lots of suggestions. Breakfast is very good with lots of choice. No restaurant for dinner but it usonly a short walk to the beach where there are a multitude of restaurants.

Generally it was a good stay- clean hotel with decent staff. Find the parking is exceptionally expensive considering you are a hotel guest and there is very limited paid parking nearby. Room had good facilities including air con and heating unit.

Above and beyond
My wife and I found the reception staff at the Badhotel to be wonderful. They helped us out when we returned following our flight being cancelled and we asked on spec if they could help us with a room for the next two nights, they did and were very understanding. Can't fault them.

Good hotel in a great location
This hotel is a great location. We love being able to walk to the beach and pier quickly and easily. We have stayed several times. It’s great for families. The only disappointment this time was one of our rooms was still warm even with the AC running. They were also a bit run down. But we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great hotel
Friendly staff, nice location for shops, beach, trams. Comfortable beds. Only down side is we didn't book breakfast as we wanted to eat by the beach but nothing was open until 11am.

Nice room but was charged twice by mistake
Descent, good location, and friendly staff. However, I stayed for 1 night but was charged for 2 by mistake. I paid them on hotels.com and then they charged me again after I checked out, which is inconvenient and constitutes poor customer service.

Payment problem
Unfortunately, I had a problem related to my reservation's payment. I had already paid for it when I booked in the site (hotels.com) but then the Hotel didn't recognize the payment in their system and charged me again. They were kind to solve the problem, but anyhow it was an embarrassing situation.

On this site and app the check out time is 12.00. Apparently this is the wrong information. Check out has changed to 11.00. It was quite unpleasant to be woken up by a phone call yelling me i was late for check out and urging me to check asap.

Ideally placed for beach, shops, restaurants and transport. Shower a little small but manageable. Staff wonderfully polite and kind. Will be back.

BAD HOTEL is not BAD at all
Overall, we would rate this hotel as a very good choice with medium budget. The staff was helpful, view of sea was nice and the accessibility was excellent.

Better then expected
I'll be honest with you, when I turned up I was wondering what I'd done. The place is probably overdue a return, not because it's falling apart, it's just dated. But, the rooms are huge, the beds really comfortable, the staff very helpful and the breakfast was smashing! My initial apprehension was for nothing as we had a good stay. The only issue is the parking.i thought I'd booked but hadn't and the car park was fully booked which means you have to find a space on the main road or on the street opposite and pay €15 for a permit until midday the following day. There's not much about near the hotel but it's only 10 minutes walk to bars etc.

Nice hotel in a good location. Friendly staff.
Arrived early but still allowed to check in. Room was clean and comfortable. Bike storage available onsite in secure area. Only gripe was breakfast was expensive at Eu16 so didn't bother.

Convenient and clean
Ill be staying here for a while as I am working here during the week. I chose this hotel because its got great tram connections right outside, to my work place. The room is cleaned everyday and its always to the highest quality. The rooms are a little dated, but I think that is reflected in the price of my stay. It is reasonable and after 2 weeks of being here I was upgraded at no extra cost. So its the little things that matter. I have not eaten here so I cannot comment on the food. Overall, its a good place.

The hotel has a great location though I could not take advantage of this as I was only there at night. The rooms are rather small, the bed was comfortable, the shower hat a curtain which I did not like at all. I rated the hotel with 4 stars but the high price of the breakfast should be an additional big MINUS.

very nice 3 star hotel. Good location, just short walk away to the beach. Clean and spacious room, big double bed, nice breakfast, close to tram stop. The Hague just too cold even during spring.

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Upon arrival we were asked if we wished to upgrade our room for 10% more and we were glad we did. The deluxe double was spacious with lots of sitting room and a large television. The bed was king size and really comfortable. The really great part was the dining room and bar area. Of our entire trip, this hotel had the best dining room we had seen. The tables were set for breakfast and a full buffet breakfast was offered. We also enjoyed our evening meal which was served in a most professional manner. The staff spoke excellent English and made us feel honestly welcome. This is really a 4star hotel masquerading as a 3star. Book it if you can!

Enjoyable stay
Warm and friendly welcome, not far from the beach for 1 week's stay. Breakfast was extra & offered a good range but we thought was a bit expensive so organised our own from local eateries. Bed linen and towels changed every day, cleaning was very good. Our room was located at the rear so was quieter than those at the front nearer the road. Tram and bus stops nearby. Secure parking provided by the hotel at extra charge but was well worth it. 'Bad' (in Dutch) = Bath / bathe, from the early days as a resort when people bathed in the sea. Would stay there again.
