This is a cozy, small, boutique-like hotel in a great location - directly across the street from the well-known Bograshov beach in Tel Aviv. Breakfast is free, delicious, and well presented. Plenty of fresh cheeses, eggs, fruits, vegetables, and of course, breads and pastries. Rooms are small but nice. Very comfy bed and pillows. Clean bathrooms with fragrant soaps. Nice shower. Parking is free but limited. I was fortunate and got a space the times I needed to get in and out of the hotel with my rental car. My only critique is one of the front desk clerks was inattentive and rude. I asked for beach towels when she was on the phone on a personal call. She brought the towels out without the MAXIM HOTEL bag. When asked where the bag was, she flippantly said, "why didn't you ask for the bag." I reminded her that I am the guest and she just turned away and went back to her phone call. This would not deter me from staying at the hotel again. I just want the management to know about this employee. BTW, the kitchen staff was lovely and very, very warm and welcoming.
