“Could not quite get comfortable....”

Overall not a bad hotel, however while not being rude the staff were not friendly in fact quite sour on the desk pretty much all the time maybe a bad week for smiles. As a solo traveler it can be easy to feel uncomfortable and at Zimei uncomfortable was indeed delivered. Essentially the hotel and room were clean but dated, the mattress a rock that left my back needing realignment after 6 nights and no clock at all in the room. I'd booked a airport pick up and delivery and both were dealt with perfectly the price was a little high but for an immaculate service worth the extra. The area around the hotel is fine there are some good reputable massage businesses, a cinema and convenience stores (a decent supermarket under the cinema too) however the MRT station is just a tad too far away for a laid back vacation vibe, the hotel provides a MRT shuttle but be warned you have to book the day before and only specified times are allowed, worked out I never did use and just walked there each day it never rained so it was okay for me.
