We chose this location because it's fairly close to Stonehenge and Highclere Castle. Beautiful looking golf course, rooms were reasonably priced but the fish and chips in the restaurant were fantastic - ate it both nights.

Could not fault the service, the room, food or golf course (which for most is probably the reason to stay). It is a tucked away, which adds to the beauty and peacefulness. However, we could not get a taxi at short notice, so you really need to be prepared to drive or organise in advance - obviously not the hotels fault. There is not much outside seating to enjoy the weather and views when not golfing but I would stay again.

Excllent experience. We had s suite with 3 rooms! Gorgeous! Dinner and breakfast wonderful! Lots of fun in the bar overlooking the golf course. Great service! We loved our stay ❤️

The hotel setting is lovely with the golf course wrapping around the hotel. Staff are very efficient and helpful. We only had breakfast which was to a good standard. We're sure to return!

Stayed for the night on our way to a cruise, hotel is so lovely and clean and staff very friendly and helpful Very nice breakfast with caring staff who made sure it was safe for me with my nut allergy

Excellent hotel room, very clean spacious and comfortable and everything you needed. No facilities on hotel site but bar and restaurant on golf course. Remote so access to any shops or food was a drive away

Beyond the call of duty
Shortly after arrival, my wife had a messy accident. This was dealt with promptly, professionally and in person by the receptionist who reflected great credit on the hotel, his manager and himself. As I had no issue with any element of our stay, i can only award the hotel a maximum score but we regard this stay as outstanding and will go out of our way to revisit any time we are in the area.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast and quiet location. There is an EV charger but this is available for use by non hotel guests / golf players so we did have to check the availability frequently to be able to charge our car. We were given a very neat and clean room but when I went into the bathroom the smell of mould was overpowering. The reception staff were very helpful and immediately arranged for a different room. The second room was much larger. While the mould didn’t smell in the bathroom, it was still very much present in the corners and seal of the shower door, and the sink overflow was thick with black mould. Around the bedroom window the mould was also very visible. White vinegar is very low cost so I’m not sure why the mould problem hasn’t been addressed, some working extractor fans in the bathroom would also be beneficial. I would like to stay at this hotel again as it is potentially excellent, but I’m very reluctant unless the cleaning is improved.

Very Comfortable Hotel
I stayed just one night on business. Great location and so lovely and quiet. The rooms are immaculate. Bed super comfy. All sparkling shower and bathroom. I have booked again for next when when I return to the area.
