All reviews are fake and paid. Nothing luxurious, no 3 star hotel.Below average property.

If u expect good service then never give money in advance. Because they want only money nothing else. I had booked for 3 nights for 2 rooms in badyari palace but they have given rooms in moon valley houseboat. Saying that Its group houseboat & service were totally disappointed . 3rd class service and breakfast Also charged 500rs for one time to and fro to ghat from houseboat.

It was a lovely experience at Badayari palace Houseboat.Beautiful kashmiri wood artwork was all over the place.The owner Wasim is very helpful & will listen to all your requests.Caretaker Mr. Farooque will take care of all your needs.They are going to renovate soon with the basic amenities like plumbing & all so that it can be more comfortable for visitors. Best Houseboat and Service at Dal Lake
Just came back from Srinagar with such an amazing experience, especially because I booked this Houseboat. So clean, with espectacular interior, you will feel like staying at a wooden palace . Houseboat caretaker is very polite and gentle human being. You will feel homely in the Jannat e Kashmir.

Highly reccommended Dal Lake experience! Owners Wasim and his father are superb hosts and made my stay a memorable one. The accomodations are lovely, spacious and very comfortable and clean. Wasim warmly welcomed me and I really felt at home. He arranged outings, meals, etc., along with helping me source any special gifts I was looking for and bringing the approved vendors to the doorstep. Everything here was punctual and exactly as promised - a rarity in many parts of the world. Houseman Mamzood helped greatly with all the room and meal details. Visits Wasim organized for me to spectacular nearby mountain and cultural destinations were really great and very economical. I will certainly come back here again and spend more time! 5-star rating in every way for the accomodations and host, and Srinagar and Kashmir are really great travel destinations.
