"Great view. excellent service. Very courteous staff. However this is an older property under renovation. I did not know about renovations until at the property. Many features did not work. No swimming pool (outdoor) despite being advertised on Expedia and all sites. Room safe did not work and was not bolted Room heating did not work since there was leakage from balcony door There was no lobby to walk, mingle since everything was under construction "

"Firstly Rah Villas is not in Sonamarg but about 10 KMS before the town on the left bank of the Indus river so we had to come back all the way looking for this hotel in the middle of nowhere. Not that I mind middle of nowhere hotels, found this to be completely characterless and overpriced.
