"This is a sweet spot - super convenient with the keypad locking system. The communications and customer service could be improved, as we were not provided with clear instructions on how to access/get into the property, as we'd arrived past the check-in hours, and used the lockbox to get our instructions. The units are pretty spread out, so that entails a bit of walking about and multiple elevators/stairs to get to the unit, but all in all, it was alright and we'd probably come back."
"This Hotel is such a fun place to stay and get reconnected to nature and family. Fun hiking trails and very comfortable cabins to stay in. Food is delicious, the Stew & Chicken pot pie our my favorite so far. The staff is always welcoming and informative."
"Lovely place. We last stayed there 18 years ago, and it has since had a nice remodel. The BBQ area in the back was lovely and roughly half of the residents were enjoying it in the evenings. They have some games a few different seating areas, two fires pits and corn hole. The woman who runs the place is great and her dog, Bear, is adorable."
"We had a really nice stay at this hotel. The location was great, especially being close to the ski area which made everything very convenient. The room space was a little small, but it felt cozy and comfortable. The hotel had a warm and relaxing atmosphere, and overall we enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a simple and cozy getaway near the slopes."
"Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money they charged me. On the second day of our 3 day stay they came to our cabin at 11:00am to check that we were staying another night. I said we were there for another night. Then at 1:30pm they came and said we had to move to another cabin and they gave us an hour to move out. They said that our booking was for 2 nights in 1 cabin and a third night in a different cabin which wasn't stated in our reservation. Moving without any prior notice was very disturbing and put a damper on the rest of our stay. I won't be returning and I won't be recommending this lodge."
