Location is good - close to the beach. The room old, furniture old, tiny shower, breakfast okay. Noise because you can hear how people next door taking shower, dry their hair, etc.

It was quiet and the restaurant in the hotel was good but down by the marina there were good restaurants as well.draw back was that you had to take a bus into town to get anywhere else you wanted to go but no bus back so about a 20 minute walk

Only one thing unsatisfying.
The location is fabulous. The overall property is great. Francesco at the front desk was awesome, friendly, customer service oriented and warmly welcoming. The restaurant was nice overlooking the ocean. My one & only complaint was that my bed in room 202 was hard as cement. I booked 3 nights but only stayed one cause I couldn’t sleep. They told me that I could not get a refund cause booked with hotels.com otherwise they would have as they were more than sympathetic toward me. I really wish this was not the case cause everything else was idyllic.

The property was very picturesque and had beautiful views. The private terrace for each room was a plus! However the rooms were a little out dated and staying there outside of visitor season really gave it an Overlook Hotel vibe. We should have done more research about location because it was difficult to get to and from. Finally no WiFi in the room was a bummer—we had to do many of our train bookings/other travel planning from the lobby where internet was spotty at best.

Lovely medium sized hotel (best to hire a car) as its a bit hard to reach friendly staff lovely breakfast with plenty of choice reception is always there to assist you, quiet peaceful place the local restaurants were great delicious seafood available we only ate once and didn't like it compared to the meals in the restaurant

Ask for one of the rooms above the garage!
We got a room above the garage and it was amazing. We had a corner balcony with a fantastic view. Very friendly staff. The local bus schedule is not that great so you should plan on walking a lot to Massa Lubrense. Remember that SITA and EAV are different bus companies and you can't buy the tickets on the bus. You can buy them at the front desk or at the tobacco store in ML.

Nice family run hotel
Clean hotel with nice pool and lounging area, beautiful views out to sea from rooms, balconies and pool area. Lovely 2 min walk down to little harbour with Angelo's family run Bar ( recommended) for simple food and beers etc or two other retaurants (not tried). A little remote, 10mins from Sorrento by car or a 15min walk (up steep hill!) followed by 20 min local bus ride (every 20mins) Not sure about swimming in the sea here? (used to cleaner atlantic).

A Gem in the Sorrentine Peninsula
Massa Lubrense's best unknown gem, Piccolo Paradiso is a newly remodeled boutique hotel in a working marina. Highly recommended, ask in advance for a view room. Walking (crawling) distance from Funiculi Funicula, a fantastic restaurant for seafood, local wine, and dessert.

what a great stay we had at hotel piccolo paradiso, the staff there were so friendly, there helped us out with lots we needed to know and actually went to another hotel for me where we were at a wedding and there brought back my shoes i accidentally left there, would definitely recommend the stay here, room was very clean, the beds were made up fresh every day not a bad word to say about the hotel at fantastic stay, there was a lovely little bar/cafe called Angelo's approx 63 steps down to the marina, Angelo and his family make you very welcome

A great choice!
An excellent family-run hotel in a beautiful location with views over the tiny harbour towards Capri. Our room (with a balcony with a view) was generously sized, clean, modern and comfortable. The restaurant offered a very good extended continental-style breakfast, and the set evening meal (2 choices) was generous and tasty. The staff could not have been more helpful. The only drawback is that the hotel is at the end of a rather long public transport system, but that's the price you pay for a location like this. The nearest frequent bus service is about half an hour's walk away, but the hotel picked us up on arrival, and would have taken us back on departure if there had not been a convenient 4-times-a-day bus that stopped outside the door. Highly recommended.

Situato in un posto incantevole veramente piccolo paradiso. Nell'insieme passato 2 giorni rilassato, l'abbinamento con il lido di fronte veramente un servizio importante , e con costi davvero sorprendenti considerando quello che si sente in altri lidi .Perosnale gentile, diciamo che dovrebbe migliorare un po la pulizia in camera e nella sala colazione da migliorare . Tazze e piatti non perfettamente puliti dovuto piu all'usura .Nell'insieme pero devo dire che rapporto qualita prezzo ottimo, .anche logisticamente situata in maniera da poter raggiungere facilmente La costiera .

We had five amazing days at Piccolo Paradiso in Massa Lubrese. The staff was super helpful, and assisted us with booking boat trips, taxi, bus etc. It’s about 20 minutes drive to Sorrento, and there is busses leaving outside the hotel every hour till 5pm. We loved staying in a smaller town, and felt like we got more of a local experience. There is boats at the marina that can take you all over the Amalfi coast for different prices. All in all we absolutely recommend a stay here, especially for couples traveling. Already told friend and family that they have to stay there if they go for a holiday to the Amalfi Coast. Massa Lubrese has loads of different restaurants, and a cost local town with small shops where you will find everything from souvenirs, food, clothes and good wine.

“Piccolo incubo” dovrebbe essere il nome di questa struttura. Siamo arrivati e abbiamo subito notato uno scarso livello di pulizia, la doccia perdeva acqua, in più assente un mini frigorifero. Dopo qualche ora ci siamo trovati invasi dalle formiche che uscivano da sotto le piastrelle del bagno e da lì andavano in tutta la camera, compreso letto e valigie. Una volta avventura la direzione, ci siamo sentiti preso in giro dato che la ragazza alla reception si è messa a ridere e ha banalizzato l’accaduto, senza proporre delle reali soluzioni.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. This cute little quite space in the area, very chill town. staying in this Hotel didn’t made us feel like tourist, we felt like part of the neighbors, great swimming areas, nice quite restaurants with great food! Views from the pool and restaurant are breathtaking. If you are not really picky and you are looking to feel part of a movie set this is the area and the hotel you are looking for to chill and peaceful.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Die Zimmer sind nicht schön und sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr unbequem, ich konnte kaum einschlafen und mir tat am Morgen alles weh. Extrem ringhöriges Hotel. Man hat das Gefühl, dass die schnarchende Person vom Nebenzimmer im gemeinsamen Bett schläft. Ich würde das Hotel nicht wieder aufsuchen.

Il n’y avait rien d’unique dans l’établissement, peut être la vue du dernier étage juste Mais beaucoup de pub mensongères, l’hôtel et les chambres n’avaient aucun rapport avec les photos sur internet, c’est un hôtel ancien, il n’y avait pas de navette appartenant à l’hôtel, du coup on doit payer tous les transports aussi, ainsi que pour venir ou aller à l’aéroport, le petit déjeuner est très simple, très peu de choix, le personnel de la réception pas très agréable et accueillant

Les chambres sont un tout petit peu vieillottes mais l'hôtel est magnifique avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de Naples et un calme incroyable. Le personnel est merveilleusement dévoué et sympathique et le restaurant excellent. Attention toutefois: Massa Lubrense est un peu éloigné par rapport à Naples, Pompéi, le Vésuve, etc., et la traversée aller-retour de Sorrento est infernale... Donc pour se détendre sur place et profiter de la côte Amalfitaine et des excursions autour c'est un excellent choix. Sinon, on risque de s'y sentir un peu coincé.
