Unforgettable five star experience at Palazzo Montefusco Relais! From the warm, welcoming staff to the luxurious amenities, our stay at Palazzo Montefusco exceeded all expectations! Huge shout out to Anna, Giuliano and Valter for their outstanding service! The hotel is located so close to Piazza Tasso and also the Sorrento lift. Located in a very safe area and close to all shopping and excellent restaurants!

Great location, clean and tidy.
We stayed for 4 nights in a 3 pax room - took some trips out of Sorrento to Amalfi coast and to Capri. Great location - right on the busiest shopping and restaurant street. Great ice cream right nextdoor Our room was very clean and nice, window facing to a narrow side street.No noise came through - quiet room. Breakfast was very simple but covers the basic need. If desired plenty of cafes right around the corner. Shower had very low water pressure and water in the sink it did not want to run down. Hotel reception was not able to help with any guidance or information to get around the area or find a good guide / company for private trips. With few adjustments I’d give top rating.
Hotel on this busy narrow shopping street for pedestrians only.

This guest house is centrally located, just a two minute walk from the Piazza Tasso, the heart of Sorrento, with bustling night life and the best shopping in town right downstairs. The room itself is clean, recently refurbished with beautiful and modern conveniences, including efficient A/C and plenty of space. A small continental breakfast is included, served by a lovely lady who makes a wonderful cappuccino. The trickiest part about the Montefusco Relais is FINDING the place; the guest house is located along the Via San Cesareo on one side, and the Corso on the other. [Easiest way to get there: have a car/or taxi drop you next to the Restaurant Ercolano on the south edge of the Piazza Tasso; then walk 100 m down the pedestrian-only street.] Neither street permits car traffic, so you will have to pull your bag about 100 meters along the street to get to the hotel. The staff will helpfully assist you with your luggage, but you should be prepared for a 2 minute walk with luggage from the Piazza Tasso. We saw some negative reviews about noise from the night life below on the Corso – but it didn’t bother us! The rooms are well insulated, so little sound penetrated – and we loved the view from our balcony overlooking the Corso, and the fact that we could grab a late-evening drink in one of the many bars and cafes within a minute’s walking distance from the hotel. The best shopping in Sorrento, according to Fodor’s, is on the V. San Cesareo, right outside your door!

Excellent location. But finding the entrance is another thing. It’s located in a small alley and access to the property is not easy also. You’d have to carry your luggages about 80-100 m through that alley full of merchants and then up 2 levels of steps. It’s a little weird but it’s ok.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The location was perfect and the surrounding area was full of small shops and convenient to everything in Sorrento. Breakfast was plentiful and you are given choices each day. The room was a bit small but there was a very comfortable king size bed! Can’t ask for more! Great place to stay!

A great little hotel this was with very friendly staff. Situated on one of the main streets in Sorrento, it’s conveniently located with everything you need just a few steps away. The room was a good size, comfortable bed, and a good breakfast option. I’m glad my wife and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon.

Lovely Week in Sorrento
Husband and I stayed here for a week during our trip to Sorrento and could not have been more pleased. Located in the center of the shopping and cute restaurants, it was so easy to get to everything and able to walk everywhere we needed. Rooms were super clean and we enjoyed the personable breakfast each morning before our adventures for the day. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming, They do not have too many rooms which made the stay more cozy and family like. Highly Recommend!

A Wonderful Stay
We are a family of four and booked this hotel due the great reviews and ability to get four of us in one room. Service was excellent with a very friendly staff and the room was updated with everything we needed. A nice breakfast was included with the owner stopping by to check to make sure all was well. An great location in the middle of the shopping area with plenty of restaurants. We would highly recommend!

Best place to stay in Sorrento
We had a lovely stay with the team at Palazzo Montefusco Relais, right in the heart of Sorrento! The porter, reception staff and breakfast staff were all so welcoming and friendly and the place was immaculate. Comfy bed and good air conditioning. Considering the handy and central location, the sound-proofing in our room was excellent for a great night sleep.

This hotel is right in the middle of the shopping areas in Sorrento. Very convenient. Very personable staff who are very eager to make sure everyone is happy during their stay. Anna makes cakes daily for breakfast which was a very nice personal touch. The shower did need cleaning on the shower head as the water was not spraying properly due to probably calcification. But other than that, the hotel staff, and room was very nice and good size given European hotel standards.

Excellent staff and amazing service (truly best in class) make up for very small rooms and cramped quarters. We felt like we were on top of each other in our tiny room. However, the staff went out of their way for us and made us truly feel like we were guests in their home. Custom breakfast. Even bought us lotion when we asked for body lotion. Thanks!
