Front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom needs major update or upgrade. Housekeepers need to do a better cleaning job. Rooms are not very sound proof, I could hear people snoring and loud talking. The location is good. The breakfast is more for locals not foreigners.

So so, nothing to tell
Not the best experience i had. Low level hotel. Not very clean. Neighborhood is not the best in town. The surrounding full with hookers. Shower too small. I will not go ther again. The furnitures are wear. The bed not very comfortable.

Clean but basic.
The hotel is a basic, clean business hotel. The bed is as hard as the floor. Breakfast was adequate, very Chinese taste.

It is a little expensive for the quality
Overall the hotel is clean and acceptable. The rooms are a little small. The breakfast offered for free was not good at all. It has a decent size gym with free weights. The toilet flushing power is below average. The front desk staff could speak English. The room cleaners were honest and sincere. I had to switch room during my stay and she brought me my cellphone charger that I left behind in my old room hours later.

Hotel was ok for a short stay. Bed was very uncomfortable as it was as hard as a rock. Air conditioning while working, did not keep the room cool. But price was reasonable ,staff friendly and breakfast was good

Close to the city center
I booked non smoking room but they answered me rudely that they dont have any non smoking room at this booking rate. And their reaction was really horrible. And my room was totally soaked by smoking and caused me to vomiting all night bcz of that horrible smoking flavor. And even they dont like to accept internet booked customer.!,,,

Stayed for two days for a business trip. Breakfast was very basic but comparable to similar Chinese hotels. Staff was ok, but hotel was showing is age.

Totally satisfactory, good location
- 10 min walk to metro around the corner - decent breakfast - standard hard Chinese beds - make sure you request a room with a window - make sure you also double check the room rate matches your booking before you sign in.

The hotel is passable. Rooms are fine, bed is a bit uncomfortable。 Five minute walk to the 2 line.

Ruitai Hongqiao Hotel in Shanghai
First of all, the phone number for the hotel given on Hotel.com web page is wrong. It's not the actual hotel number. Big problem. I could not tell the taxi driver where the hotel was, because I could not call them to get directions. Second, the hotel staff could not speak English that well. Third, the internet connection in the room was not convenient. I had to have the staff come up and install it after three requests. Besides the rock hard bed, the hotel in itself was fine, but the experience was not.
