“Fabulous hotel”

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and very helpful at all times. Room was fantastic! Had requested a river view and it didn't disapoint! We were on the 22nd floor looking straight down the Bund and across the river - absolutely stunning. Rate booked through Expedia was great had 2 nights at Les Suites inc breakfast for the price of 1 night at the Waldorf! Hotel is directly opposite the ferry terminal so very convenient. Ate at the hotel restaurant both nights and that was also excellent. Would defintely try to stay here again.

“Beautiful hotel”

We first stayed here in a deluxe room in June 2011 and liked it so much we went again with our daughter in August. Second time around I had booked city view rooms and on check in we were upgraded whilst our daughter was still in a city view although the rooms were next to each other. Neither room disappointed. Our daughter was so impressed she wouldn't come out on the first afternoon and said her bed was like sleeping in a cloud! No detail has been overlooked and the helpful staff could not do enough for us. The breakfast is buffet style with a good selection and I can also recommend the hotel for dinner, very reasonable with a good selection of both Asian and Western dishes. Expedia offered the most competitive rates on both occasions.

“Excellent Hotel in a very central location”

What a wonderful way to spend a few days, the hotel is situated in a very convenient location and the attention to detail is second to none.

“Does the simple things very well.”

An impressive hotel thats is service focussed and is well designed. The rooms are large and fitted out with high specification beds / showers / WC etc. Good quality coffee and tea is available at no additional charge in the rooms and communal areas and you get the sense that the hotel's focus is to provide a great service / experience rather than wring every penny out of you during your stay. There is no restaurant, which absolutely fine as there are some seriously good establishments within walking distance. Having been there, I would not stay anywhere else in Shanghai.

“Great boutique hotel in a superb location”

Very well located on the Bund with wonderful views of the river and Pudong, this is an excellent base for exploring Shanghai. The Yu Gardens and bazaar are a short walk away and other central Shanghai sites are easily accessible. The hotel is modern and well appointed, the service was friendly and efficient and my room service meal was excellent.

“The best one yet!”

Absolutely outstanding!! On a multi-city tour of china and Taiwan this has absolutely been the best hotel by far and excellent value. The staff were lovely and not overly attentive, the in- hotel food was very good, the room was superb and we spent ages watching the river from our window. Excellent location right on the Bund. A real find this one!!
