The best thing about the propery is the owners. They made us feel very welcome and treated us as a couple and not just a number. James even cheuffuered us to the local shopping mall to show us where we could get an evening meal. There was nothing we didn'tlike about the property.

Disappointing service.
Booked this property because i was transiting overnight and the property was close to the airport. Emailed a few weeks prior, to the property that i was arriving at 11PM and was informed that checkin would be closed and information would be at the front desk. Arrived at 11PM to a deserted house with nothing after a 15minute grab ride from the airport but a set of keys with a 3 on it. After trying to reach the owners of the property. To no avail, I used the key found room 3 already tenanted and found things in the room upstairs. Tried calling the numbers multple times and leaving a message. But got nothing for 20minutes. Didnt see anyone except a group of French guests come in at around 1120. Finally after 30mins presumably the wife opened a door and tld me to wait. Then a gentleman came out and mumbled if i he could help me? Pretty disappointed by the service. Usually Malaysian hospitality is great. Mumbled an apology which didnt sound sincere and showed me a room. No keys were provided. Felt like I inconvenienced them despite them messing up the booking. Didnt get a good rest, At night had trouble sleeping, it was noisy with planes coming/going. I understand mixups happen, but a sincere apology would've gone a long way. Left at 6am the next day. If i had my time again, id probably have paid extra and booked a room at the airport.

Hi, Thanks for choosing to stay with us. I only really figured out what happened here the following morning. I had left instructions at the front door for this guest to check in but we had another guest arrive before this one who taken this room even though they had booked for the following night and didn't have a reservation for this night. Both guests had a remarkably similar Chinese name! Still even despite the confusion this guest was promptly checked in once they rang the doorbell at the front door and did receive a sincere apology even though at the time we couldn't understand what had gone wrong. Room keys were in the room on the table next to the wifi code! In 9 years of running this B&B this is the only experience we have had where something like this has happened.

Professionally run. Clean. Close to airport. Nice pool but time prevented our using it. James was very hospitable and helpful. Book exchange. Very hot and AC wasn't working at full capacity so hard to get to sleep. Nice coffee.

James, Jo and the team were extremely helpful and went out of the way to accommodate me, including with my late-night arrival into KL. The room was very comfortable and the continental breakfast had a wide section - even several cooked to order options. Highly recommend!

It is within a 30 minute walk and then a 15 minute train trip to the KLIA airport. It was a little difficult for our taxi from the airport to find. We came in very late- 2 am- but the owners made sure we could get in. Food was simple but good. Swimming pool was Nice. Hotel was quiet, pleasant, & safe. Air conditioning was good. When we needed to go to the airport, owner dropped us at the train station about 2 km away.

Thanks for staying with us. Salak Tinggi ERL station is a 1km, 15 minute walk or a 2 minute car ride using grab. Taxi's in Malaysia are not very reliable as the further they can drive the more they can charge. It's much better to use an app such as grab or Mycar as these have built in GPS and the cars never have a problem finding their destination.

Thanks for staying, apps like Grab and Mycar make travelling easy but there are plenty of shops and cafes a short walk from the house and we have a excellent train service to KL and to the airport.

We had a lovely stay at this property. Nice and close to the airport. Jo was a superb host dropping us off at the local mall in her car and even preparing us an early breakfast as we had an early flight. Jo even booked us the taxi to airport the same morning. I would definitely stay here again. We even had the pool to ourselves..

Comfortable & Convenient family-run B&B
Very easy & cheap to get here from KL airport via train to Selak Tinggi & then a short taxi ride via “GRAB.” Owner James v welcoming & helpful. Pool v welcome & refreshing after 12hr flight from UK. Eateries within easy walking distance. Breakfast simple but ample. James kindly dropped us back at train station for flight out. Would definitely stay here again.

A top choice
Only stayed overnight as had a flight out the following day. A metered taxi to and from the international airport cost only about 25 MR each way. James & Jo were excellent hosts, a lovely area and a lovely room and the swim in the pool was refreshing after our flight to KL. Local restaurants and shops just a 10 minutes walk, although James drove us to the local shops where we had a nice dinner.(we walked back) Top recommendation for an overnight or even a couple of days as the fast train to KL City central is very close by.

Rumah Putih was a good option for an overnight near KLIA. Check-in was painless, the room nice, and there are eateries nearby. I hung out by the relaxing pool after the drive-up from Malacca. Breakfast was good. Recommended for travelers who have early morning flights, as KL or Malacca are not nearby.

Perfect location if you want to be close to the airport. James was so friendly and very helpful with getting us taxis to the city and for our 5am flight! Check in and out was a breeze. And the room was very clean with a super comfy bed! Highly recommended.

We needed a place to sleep near to the airport, and an early start next morning. This place is lovely, clean, comfortable, with nice beds, clean linen and towels, a swimming pool, and a welcoming host who also made arrangements for our early-morning taxi. Highly recommended.

Good place near the airport
Nice place near the airport. Good to spend a night or two. Lovely host and having a pool is very nice. Perfect if you looking for something quiet away from the busy city or airport area. Only the location isn't that great. Not much around there in terms of restaurants and shops.

Dear Markus, Thanks for staying with us, there is a village with about 15 local cafes (some 24 hours) and restaurants, 711 store, supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the house, McDonalds, KFC, Burger King as well as a selection of local franchise restaurants are located in or near the mall 10 minutes walk from the house. Pizza hut and Dominoes both deliver to the house and we can help to order. Mitsui Outlet Mall is 10 minutes away which has many international brands and a great selection of restaurants and IOI city, one of the biggest malls in Malaysia is easily reachable by car. Just let me know what you like and I'm always happy to point you in the right direction. We hope to see you here again soon.

Better than hotel
For the price and comfort, we got a better deal than staying at hotels around the airport. We only had 15 hour overnight layover. Easy to get uber at 4am. Didn’t get to try breakfast so no comment on that.

Such a great place to spend a night between flights. Beautifully presented like a hotel but with the comfort of being at home. Five minutes walk to excellent roti and local fare. Great place to be with a toddler. Playground nearby and even a taxi toy kitchen to keep my kid entertained on premises. Delicious home baked goodies in our breakfast bundle (we had an early morning flight).

James and his wife are fabulous hosts. my room was excellent but needed a table or somewhere other than the floor to put my suitcase cheer,s and thank you for the transportation also.

Very nice and comfortable! Easy access to airport.
Very comfortable. 15 taxi drive from airport so very convenient if you need to be close to airport. Great food for dinner 5 min walking.

James was a wonderful host-he was very helpful with getting us a taxi to the airport at a very early hour. He also made sure to send us off with a snack as we had to miss breakfast! Very lovely location and very clean room!

Stayed here for the Malaysian F1 GP. Nice, quiet location. Welcoming and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend staying here. Only small annoyance was that there was no shelf or table in our bathroom to place toiletries.

Lovely and peaceful
We unfortunately only stayed the 1 night between flights. James and Jo run this beautiful oasis and it is a place of tranquility worthy of a longer stay. If you are lucky James will pick you up from train station but it is only 15 ringgit or so by Uber.
