Lovely hotel situated in a charming town with friendly locals. Large spacious room with balcony overlooking town and mountains. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices.

Room good cleaned and WE had a bigger room because no Queen bed left in the hôtel for Double Room. It was better for out baby sleeping between us !

We thought the staff we all terrific, going beyond to provide food when kitchen closed, and carrying heaviest bag up to our room for us. The town is not very pretty, and not much to do, but staff had lots of brochures and information about whete we could go. Free parking just outside front door. Very substantial and tast breakfasrt was inccluded.

Certainly the best hotel in a rather uninteresting (for tourists) town. We were upgraded to balcony room after complaining about room we were shown (opens onto a weird hemmed in courtyard). Jacuzzi never got hot, hot water was a looooong time coming to room (hotel was almost empty), but staff were very friendly, room was big and clean. There is no restaurant - only breakfast buffet and bar menu - and the town does not appear to have many charming restaurants of its own. The nearby small beach/port of Porto de Aldea was very charming and had decent restaurants.

Beautiful hotel, great people but quiet location.
Stayed here for a few days. Lovely little hotel with a pool and terrace run by some really lovely people. The local area is a bit weird though with very few restaurants or bars.

Lovely hotel and very welcoming!
Excellent small hotel and very friendly service from the moment we arrived. Rooms are large, comfortable and spotless. There are quite a few places to eat in the village, within five minutes walk - the food in Bar Felix was great. Local prices are very reasonable, noticeably cheaper than the larger more touristy areas further around the coast. Great base for walking or cycling. Will stay again!

Great hotel in a nice little town
Very nice hotel. Good rooms with fridge and everything you need. Great breakfast, but the cakes were really dry. And the hotel is in walking distance to everything in this little and cozy town. Recommended!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week in mid January. The taxi from the airport takes over an hour to get the hotel, though we much preferred this over getting multiple buses. The scenery en route is fantastic though! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our room was large, though we had two single beds pushed together, instead of a single double bed. The room had a fridge and TV, but the wifi signal was poor. You can get alcoholic beverages and tea or coffee at the downstairs bar, though it closes at 10pm sharp, which can be a bit frustrating. Our room was cleaned most days, but the towels are only changed every other day, which is really the only bad point that sticks out in my mind. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend, though there is some room for (small) improvements.

Annoyances and many minor issues
A lot of annoyances here. For example, - you want to lock your door? Then obviously shut down power first using key on power card. Same when unlocking. No light when doing so, so good luck fitting the key in the hole. - cold water in the shower. Wait 10 minutes every time or in mid showering. Sounds like fun right? - night table lights were in there but not plugged into power outlet. Well because there is no power outlet nearby. - a/c is in the room but obviously never used as it is still in factory wrap and no way to plug it in as the necessary infrastructure is not there (wasn't needed in winter but why is this half baked stuff in there?) - wifi only works in some areas, clearly not in most rooms - staff not very helpful or showing interest -so so neighborhood I can go on and on about the little things that made our stay less pleasurable than it could have been if the hotel management tried. Still was ok...

Thank you for your comments and our appologies your unpleasant experiance. The door lock is fixed, you knew this when you arrived. The airconditioning is a portable one maybe you didn't know. Cold water in the shower is fixed Any other issue if you had mentioned it during your stay it would be fixed inmidialtely. Hotel was modern and clean but poor service - frequently hard to find any staff. There is nothing in the area for visitors - reasonable size town but almost nothing by way of restaurants or information.

I am sorry to hear that you think that our serevice is poor. This is one of the most important things for us. We are in the hotel from 7 in the morning till 10 at night. Our bar is open till 10. Because we are a family hotel it might be that sometimes we arte not sitting at the reception but are at another place at the hotel. If you ring the bell we will always be there in a minute. Our hotel is located in an area where people do enjoy the nature go site seeing and go hiking. Maybe this location was not what you were looking for. Wonderful friendly family run hotel
Very nice owners who were very helpful and kind. Gave us bikes to use and let us park in underground car park. Rooms were very big and breakfasts were hearty and nourishing. Great place.

Great hotel - exactly as described
La Aldea Suites is in San Nicolas, a low key and simple town, but with a mountainous backdrop that is peaceful and very scenic. The hotel is exactly as described and the service really is great, it's kind of like staying with an extended family! Youshka is absolutely a perfect host. The hotel communal areas and the room are spotless. The amenities include an outdoor pool (didn't use as was winter when travelled), an outdoor jacuzzi tub (ditto) and a large room for breakfast (lots of choice and high quality) and with a small bar area. Didn't use parking facilities and would say that unless you are there for a complete not-do-much break and are happy to use the reliable but infrequent bus service then a car is highly useful. The room was huge - one regular sized balcony and one terrace sized balcony. Modern flat screen TV, desk, comfortable sofa, small fridge. The bathroom only has a shower which is no bother. The hot water was temperamental as in there was hot water but had to run the sink tap before hot water came out the shower. The only other criticism is that the double was two singles side by side, but this is the norm in Spain and not a criticism specifically of the hotel. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, there is a pizza place 10 seconds away which is open in the evenings and there are five or six restaurants at the beach area (the beach itself is stony), which is a five minute drive (five euros cab) or a two hour walk (take a map!)

Nice hotel and a small village
Nice little hotel with excellent service and a very nice breakfast with av buffé of various dishes. A small village with few tourists, a pleasant brake from Maspalomas, Playa Ingles and so forth. God stay as a starting Point for hiking in the Mountains.

Hot water can take about 5 minutes to come down due to solar panels. But there is hot water ALWAYS

just great
engoed my stay werry much, from the time of cheak in hotell is easy to locate, just around the coner in small peasfull willage, and less then 5min drive from the sea, althou the road from the noth is hard( along the sae on a mounten bus driver was local) adrenalin was jumping in my weins, but driver stop at the door Hotel is well desingt withouth losin a homey feeling. The oportunity to set down in zakusi or have my morning cofe looking at sharp shaped mountains, was a great expiriense. Deafenetly woud recomend as an exsiting getaway, for those who got taerd of layng around and want to see what the island had to offer.

Das Hotel liegt in einem kleinen ruhigen schönen Ort mit ca.7000 Einwohner abseits vom Massentourismus. Jedoch sind die beworbenen Parkmöglichkeiten nicht wirklich so gut wie beschrieben. Wenn das Haus ausgebucht ist, ist kein Platz für alle vorhanden. Tiefgarage sehr eng. Die Zimmer Solide jedoch kein Safe vorhanden und die Toilettenbrille (Aufsatz) nicht befestigt ! Service ist super und Angebot beim Frühstücken reichlich !

Fantastisk frokost og service på sjarmerende hotel
Meget vennlig personell. Ordnet oppbevaring inne av sykkel og gir god veiledning og anbefalinger om alt i La Aldea. Fikk ikke det rommet jeg hadde bestilt, men det gikk greit. Frokosten er fantastisk, rikholdig meny og bra kvalitet. Har bodd her 3-4 ganger og kommer tilbake 😊

Es un hotel familiar, ubicado en el municipio de La Aldea. Está muy céntrico, así que en el pueblo se puede hacer todo andando. La playa y el puerto se encuentran a unos cinco kilómetros, sería conveniente utilizar el coche, porque la ida es un agradable paseo, pero la vuelta es un poco más dura. La piscina del hotel está muy limpia, así como el jakuzzi, en un jardín donde hay sol hasta última hora de la tarde. Las camas son cómodas y la habitación tiene aire acondicionado. Yo dormí perfectamente, y no oí ningún ruido. Admiten mascotas pequeñas, que se pueden alojar en la habitación. Y dejo para el final LA SORPRESA: El desayuno es digno de un hotel de cinco estrellas, lo puedes tomar en el buffet, o bien en el jardín, junto a la piscina. Hacía mucho que no disfrutaba un desayuno tan variado, las camareras están pendientes en todo momento, para reponer o despejar las mesas a medida que los clientes van saliendo. Repetiré. Nos trataron estupendamente.

Fijne accomodatie. Mooi dichtbij centrum dorpje. Alles goed voor elkaar. Zwembad schoon maar logischerwijs fris. Ontbijtbuffet is goed, uitgebreid, gevarieerd en bijna alles vers. Auto kan gratis geparkeerd in garage onder hotel, 's nachts afgesloten Wij hadden een probleem met de huurauto en zijn belangeloos fantastisch goed geholpen door de hoteleigenaar. Echt super!

En pärla!
La Aldea är en liten ort, långt från normala turistströmmar, allt känns mycket genuint. Det sägs att det är den mest otillgängliga dalen på ön men som har den mest gästvänliga befolkningen. Otillgängligheten förändras i takt med att vägarna förbättras. Gästfriheten finns dock kvar!! Har du en egen bil och känner dig bekväm med att hantera den på bergsvägar så skall du inte tveka. Orten har en spännande historia som de gärna berättar om via många små "levande" museum. Området runt erbjuder spännande vandringar eller cykelturer. Hotellet är mycket bra, fint poolområde, utmärkta rum, trevlig reception och en riktigt bra frukost. I närområdet finns det bra lokala restauranger med kanariskmat, även italienskmat av bra kvalitet finns inom promenadavstånd. Gillar du lokal producerad öl så kommer en av restaurangerna inte göra dig besviken. Jag kommer att besöka La Aldea Suites flera gånger i framtiden.
