"Stunning property with the most incredible breathtaking views. Note that the property is very remote therefore you will need a car to get to it and a car to get from each building on the property. It would be useful to know that dinner is only served at 8pm and there is not really any food or drinks available in between so would be good to come stocked with supplies."

"While driving around Tuscany, my mother and I spent two nights in the guest apartment of Podere Pretoia. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and although they didn't speak a lot of English, we had no problems with our booking because we did everything online through Expedia. They greeted us as soon as we arrived and presented us with a fresh loaf of bread, homemade pasta, wine from their vineyard and fresh tomatoes from their garden. "Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "
