Room was an upgrade, fantastic views, lots of space and vey helpful staff. Well situated in SF. Highly recommended.

Happy hour - half price drinks, from 4-7pm. Comfortable bar, lounge and outside space a bonus. Good location - easy walk to shops and Yerba Buena Gardens.

“Great hotel to be in on vacation in downtown San Fransisco”

The hotel is well loacted very close to all the tourist visitng areas, lots of eating places and above all very safe to walk around at all times of the day or night. Also very proximate to the financial district and most offices in downtown. Made affordable by expedia. thanks for a great vacation in San Fransisco. Would want to come one more time. R Ragunath

“Well Placed in San Francisco”

The hotel is well placed in Market Street and an easy walk to Union Square and major shopping malls. It is an unpretentious Westin with the type of service you would expect from this hotel chain. There was a lack of complimentary bathroom products including a shower cap which was surprising for this class of hotel but my booking was on the extremely competitive rate so this was not something to complain about.

“Westin Market Place, Great Hotel”

Westin Market Street was a fantastic hotel, great location, ideal for attractions and shopping. Upon checkin we were upgraded and given free wifi for our 7 night stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Would not recommend flying Lufthansa nor United Airlines for this (London - San Francisco return), as these planes do not have individual tvs, even though its a long flight. The return on UA was better as the plane was new and we were given seats in the first row of economy, which were more spacious and ideal for seeing the tv also.

“A Great Stay, Great Location, Great Service”

Another great stay at a Westin for 3 nights. Location is brilliant if you don't want to be right next to the bustle of Fisherman's Wharf. Central for shopping, restaurants, some of the sights. Very easy access for all public transportation. Service was 1st class and experience tells me if anything is wrong you simply ask, be polite and explain reasonably how they can resolve the issue to your satisfaction - Westin's have NEVER failed me and I've stayed at loads of hotels of different hotel chains of all classes. Be warned, parking cost at the hotel is $50+ per night - even the hotel staff tipped me off on this so it is an embarressment for them in my book! If you plan just to do sights in SF you don't really need a car in my opinion. This Hotel hits my Highly Recommended category and top of the return list for San Francisco.

“Good choice”

I visited with my family for 3 days. This is a business hotel primarily, but offered a great level of service and comfort for our holiday. It is very conveniently located for the trams, China town, art centres , MUNI, etc The staff were very helpful and the services very good.

Central location for the shops. Great service. AMAZING beds - they are truly and experience. Got a great deal on expedia.co.uk incl flights. Wouldnt fail to recommend.
