Single glazed window in bedroom, you could feel the cold from outside. Heating from A/c units not very efficient - too hot or too cold. Good selection and quality at breakfast, coffee not too good. Bar service good. Leisure facilities looked ok, i didn't use them but appeared ok

The staff were excellent. Clemmie took our call when we rang to confirm our booking and she was so kind by going the extra mile to ensure our stay was great. Riley was very helpful and friendly at dinner and Jackie as well at breakfast. Great team all round!

Easy check in! Pool and spa facilities were very nice. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb! The staff were very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be coming back.

Excellent rooms for a family of 5 and friendly and accommodating staff. Late checkout was also great as meant we could enjoy the fantastic swimming pool and facilities.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and previously always had a room allocated at the rear of the hotel. However, on this occasion we were given a room at the front of the hotel. Whilst we expected some noise from the busy road I felt there was an excessive amount of traffic noise which would be reduced if the room had better windows. Unfortunately our sleep was severely disrupted by the traffic noise.

Great staff especially Riley she’s was very helpful friendly and polite. Only slight downside is the room was looking tired big cracks in the ceiling marks on the wall and carpet. Bathroom door looks like it was planed with a cheese grater. But other than that all good

Very loud banding of doors throughout the night didnt sleep well at all the bathroom floor wasnt clean in some areas and had a very fusty smell .Stain on pillow .

Lovely hotel. Felt luxury for a good price point. I only stayed two nights and didn’t use the pool so don’t have an opinion about that. I did have room service though. Very reasonable and fast. Bed was huge and comfy. I was near the swimming pool though so could hear it from my window. Plus the aircon was quite noisy but not unbearable! Parking was plentiful and good location for Rotherham and Sheffield.

Pleasant hotel with friendly staff and good amenities. If I am being picky the rooms are quite tired. The communal areas are smart and clean, but the rooms are needing of an update, not least because I would imagine that the design of the fittings and furniture makes them quite difficult to clean properly.

As expected
Everything as expected from a holiday inn. Only negative, which is nothing to do with the hotel, is that there were late night roadworks gking on on the duel carriageway at the front of the building which was slightly noisy. Other than tbat, all good!

Amazing hotel
The hotel was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff are amazing and amenities were 5 star. Our room was huge and so clean. The pool had a problem with its heating but we still went in there. Food was great especially the steak. The staff are a credit to this hotel. I can’t wait to stay again

The room was very comfortable. We are a family of 5 and like staying together when we visit hotels. This is by far the best family room we have stayed in. We will visit again. I would highly recommend their conference bedroom.

Nice hotel with a pool, but no WiFi or safe
Hotel & pool overall were good. The room was big enough, but there's only 1 chair to share, there's no safe in the room, or drawers. The big downside at the hotel, was no working WiFi or internet or usb ports & the hotel must be in a blackspot, as it was impossible for either of us to make any phone calls.

Very welcoming
Lovely clean hotel and toilets Friendly accommodating staff Big family room Most importantly extra beds wete made up ready and we didn't need to call reception to get them made up. Its offputting for my kids with disabilities to arrive in a room where there isn't enough beds, it stresses them out so seeing where they were sleeping helped them settle in

Not a 4 Star Hotel
Outside hotel looks fantastic but its very dated inside. Our room was spacious but curtains were broken and had to bodge them to keep out the light. Two football sized patches of mould on the celing, one above the bed and one above the TV. Bed was big but not comfortable. Not sure how they can market this as a 4 star hotel. Wasnt aware the pool was open to the public not just hotel patrons. Its relatively small and there was 6 or 7 people doing laps so couldnt use the main pool this morning before we left. Jacuzzi needed a good cleanout, lots of debris at the bottom. To their credit the staff were all friendly and courteous.

Great stay, but beware of the postcode!
Lovely staff, all were extremely helpful. Clean and comfortable room, I had a great night’s sleep. Good sized swimming pool. Nice food. I really enjoyed my stay. Note: don’t use the S60 4NA postcode, it put me on the wrong section of a very long and busy road. Use the hotel name, or the postcode for the Halfords store opposite, S60 2XL.
