“Excellent”

We where greeted at the airport by taxi which I arranged the day before arrival - when we arrived we where pleasantly greeted and all questions asked where answered in full. The staff were extremely helpful and very polite. We where very near to every thing to see in the vatican but we did fine out later that the st peters square closes at 11 and all shops and resturants close around 10 but that could be the time of year so you should check that out. The number 64 bus would take you to central rome where most of shops, resturants are and if you want more of a buzz then Rome rather than Vatican would be best for you. Everything is so easy to get to though

“very satisfied!”

We just came back from Rome, we had a wonderful time! It is such an amazing place to go! Our experience from the hotel was very good. From the welcome in the reception to the immaculate cleanness of the room! Breakfast was very good, although it could do with some more variety from day to day. The location is very good, quiet and nice residential area, just opposite to the vatican city. Lots of buses passing just 2 min walk from the hotel going to most of the central locations in Rome. Would recommend this hotel without any reservation!

“St Peter's Square Hotel...great location”

Perfect location for a weekend break...just round the corner from st peter's square...and a view of st peter's from our window! Close to line A for Metro station. a 75 minute ticket for 1 eur or 4 euro for an all day ticket which allwos you to get around to Spanish steps ( about 3 stops) or collosseum(change to line B). Also bus 64 stops about 300m walk which then takes you to Termini if you didn't fancy the 10 min stroll to metro with luggage (again 1 euro ticket). Make sure you get a seat tho - it gets busy! Spacious room with comfortable beds/pillows and clean towels each day. Breakfast very good and helpful staff ensured they brought boiling water for English tea! No road noise heard even though so central. Would definitely use this hotel again - excellent value.

“Great Location. Friendly Staff”

Great location within walking distance of the Vatican City. Staff were friendly and helped us on a few locations. Only downside the restaurant is been renovated & though they offer food through the bar it is only a limited choice, apart from that I have no complaints.

“Fine service and wonderful breakfast”

This large hotel, built in the 1950s and later refurbished, is tucked away in a side street close to St Peters, and in easy walking distance of the Square, the Vatican Museums, the Tiber and the Castel Sant'Angelo. The centre of Rome, the Forum and Colosseum are a bus ride away unless you are a keen walker. It's a functional rather than characterful building, with modern facilities, including air conditioning and heritage decor. Our room, the standard "classic" double, had distressed painted wood furnishings which were beginning to show signs of wear. For us, it's great qualities were the fine professional and friendly service from its multilingual staff and a breakfast buffet of staggering variety and proportions that sets you up for a whole day in this wonderful city.

“Fully recommended”

The hotel is very near St Peters Square which was why we chose it. On first entering our room we were pleasantly surprised as it was spotless. It was thoroughly cleaned and linen replaced each morning that we were there. No kettle/coffee/tea but Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good.

“Ideal for city break”

Hotel reception very helpful, breakfast really good selection, and location(close to Vatican)excellent. Dining room a bit impersonal for an evening meal but good restaurants nearby (reccomended by reception). Bit of a walk to ancient sites if not very mobile, but would certainly reccomend to anyone.
