The property was not clean and nice as expected. The walls of the room were dirty. The bathroom shower had mold and toilet seat had brown stains. Because the place its like a big apartment and they have the bedrooms rented every time someone came in you could hear the noise. On top of that I lost power the second day in the morning while i was taking a shower, so had to change in the dark the entire time without electricity for almost an hour and power was still not fixed. I informed the lady via WhatsApp about it because there was no one in the office to help. The lady didn’t even the courtesy to respond to tell me if the power was fixed until I asked her in the afternoon. You could barely feel the AC too I was hot most of the time and couldn’t sleep of the middle of the night. The only good thing about this place is the location is walking distance to everything. Service wise the only thing i liked was that they arranged my taxi pick up and drop off for me. But it was pricey $60 dollars every time. I would say I wouldn’t pick this place again if I wanted to visit Rome again, not a good experience.

Dear guest.the power went out for a short time and was immediately restored in the morning with the sun.We are a guest house and not a hotel, it is written on all the portals.In all the structures there are rooms that face either internally or externally, for this reason internally facing rooms have a lower price.We provide private transportation to and from the airport for a fee, it is not included in the price.The air conditioning works very well, the entire system was changed in the summer of 2023.We will be happy to host you on your next trip to Rome.I wish her the best.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rippeta Room, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location couldn't be better; it's nestled in the heart of Rome offering easy access to all the attractions and amenities the city has to offer. The communication was impeccable. Fantastic little find in the HEART of Rome!
What a fantastic location. RIGHT in the heart of Rome and centrally located to so many of the iconic landmarks. This location was perfect for what we were looking for and at the price point, satisfied all of our needs. European rooms are smaller than American rooms regardless, so if you have a lot of luggage or more than 2 people, be prepared that you may need to verify the room size. For two people our room was the perfect size. If you are a very tall or larger individual, you may find the shower in our particular room fairly compact. Our contact (Marco) took care of setting up our transfers for us as well and was VERY attentive and helpful during our stay. The building was very quiet and you didn't hear any street or pedestrian noise. Depending on your cell provider you may or may not have reception due to the solid walls of the building, but wifi worked perfectly. If you are English speaking, be prepared, you are in Italy, so all of the TV channels are in Italian language as should be expected. We just watched our shows on our iPad. Housekeeping came by daily to refresh which was so nice to come back to after a long day of exploring.

Our stay at Ripetta Rooms was very good overall. Staff were excellent with communication before our arrival and assisted us with late check in info. Once there the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The hotel is in a great location in the city making most sites easy to get to by foot or only a short taxi journey. Lots of good places to eat and drink nearby also.

A spotlessly clean room was cleaned every day plus fresh towels if required. Breakfast buffet was provided at a cafe 1 minute from the rooms and was of the highest quality with great staff a perfect way to start the day! The owner of Ripetta Rooms was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He booked Vatican tickets for us on line far cheaper than any of the other companies could offer. He gave us other useful tips of when to go to the other attractions and recommended a “real”Italian restaurant that made its own pasta for everyone to see and was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced- 2 wonderful main courses 20 euro. We did use the metro for one 30 min trip to the colosseum and found it quick,easy and at 1.50 euro per person a bargain!! Otherwise we walked everywhere and did over 15,000 steps everyday. Ripetta rooms is a great place to base yourself for all of Rome’s attractions - would unreservedly recommenced.

Great location, we got to the main attractions of Rome all on foot (max. 30 mins). The staff is friendly and the room was nicely decorated, a tad small but efficient in its use of space (shout out to the mini fridge!). The included breakfast saves a ton of money and the buffet is diverse enough. Definitely recommend :)

Lovely little hotel in central Rome. So quiet too.... the owner was very helpfull and went out of his way to provide us with a map and explain to us directions and the best places too eat. The bottled water and the slippers were a nice touch too. Will definatly stay again when we return. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Excellent location and helpful staff
The location is excellent close to Piazza del Popolo and Via del Corso. You can walk to most important sightseeing sites. The room was a bit on the small side for twin singles but it was not really a hindrance as we were out most of the time. It is very quiet. The bathroom is all renovated with water jets. The receptionists were extremely helpful, making various phone calls on our behalf. I would recommend Ripetta Rooms for a stay in Rome.

Italian Gem
Ripetta Rooms is a typical small Italian hotel in a great area of the city. The room was comfortable and the staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was included which was an added plus. There were many good restaurants with in walking distance We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great base to see Rome
Excellent small B&B in great location. Very clean and staff lovely. Paid extra for deluxe room to get extra space and well worth it. Breakfast (included in price) in restaurant just round corner (steps away) was excellent. Highly recommended if not keen to pay the exorbitant prices charged elsewhere.

Great room, hard to find
The room was great. Comfortable bed, good size room by European standards. Close to historical attractions. However, it was difficult to find. There is only a small sign on the street door, and the reception desk was one floor up at the end of a hallway. I had to call from the street to find out how to find the desk. Could have been better explained in the correspondence.

Do not stay here, my worst experience!
The air conditioner hardly worked, the beds are foam (no mattress, as hard as a bed can be), the wifi signal was weak and it kept coming and going, the shower didn't drain properly so you had to take a minute shower to make sure the water wouldn't overflow and the room was dusty. The room was so bad that we spent the first night there (we stayed because we got in by midnight so no other option) and went first thing in the morning and got another hotel. When I came back asking for at least some money back (I had paid in advance for 5 nights!) the answer was that because it was a non-refundable rate and because I had paid already in full with my credit card that I couldn't get any money back. I explained that I wasn't leaving because I wanted but because of all the reasons I mentioned but there was nothing to do, they just wanted to keep the US$900 that I had paid. So we lost the money but I told them that I would post this review so that people would not end up there and going through the same bad experience I went.

Dear Jackie, I am sorry you feel that way about our place, and also that I was not there the morning after you check in, to have a better understanding about the situation and your decision to suddenly leave our guesthouse, because the night before when I checked you in, you did not complained about anything, I explained everything to you, and you seemed happy, tired .. but happy. Regarding the refund, you have to understand that we are a small business, and that all our customers are booking a room with at least one month in advance, like you did too ... so for us was impossible to resell your room on such a short notice and therefore being able to refund you. Even our cancellation policy covers the whole amount of the reservation, and the reason is because we cannot afford to lose any money, not because we like to take advantage of our future guests. Last but not least, what you said about the room is your personal opinion, which I respect, but I do not have to agree with it, nor all our guests that had the same room and were always happy about the size, AC, bathroom and cleanliness.I do not doubt that AC maybe was not working, but have you considered that maybe it was just on the wrong setting, cause it has both hot and cold air... overall I think it was just a matter of patience, which you did not have anymore(either because you were all very tired from traveling a lot, or maybe some bad previous experience with other accommodation in Italy), cause if you were willing to try and communicate with us maybe we would have fond an appropriate solution for you.. like changing your room with a larger one for example, but you just did not try anything, you decided to leave, and that was that. Sorry again for any inconvenience we may have caused you and for not being able to refund you at least partially. Kind Regards

A very relaxed and enjoyable stay, would certainly stay again. Service given was excellent and room very clean and comfortable. Perfect location for visiting the sites of Rome on foot.

Clean room, very friendly hostess. When you first get here you need to buzz in like an apartment building. You then walk up a flight of stairs to the "reception desk". Overall, it is like an apartment that was remodeled to add a few rooms. But it is really a very nice stay. If you don't need all of the extra with a higher cost hotel, I recommend giving this a try.

Great place, would go again.
Really nice, clean and fresh room that was tastefully decorated. Our room looked out over the Main Street, but with the double glazing there was no intrusive noise. When you opened the window you could see the Piazza at one end, and miles down the other way. The bathroom was clean and tidy with a good shower. Even though our room was near the main entrance, we did not hear any noise from people coming and going. It's a great base for exploring Rome.

Was able to leave my luggage even after checkout! Close to major attractions and shops. Overall very enjoyable stay. Felt safe even though I was travelling alone and very quiet.

Execllent location in old rome
It was a very good stay but the hotel was hard to find as it is considered in a flat in a building that you would never think the hotel is in but after 10 minutes of asking we found it. Bathrooms are really small but has everything you need so if you are a large person dont stay here.

I'm sorry about your issue to find the location. in the historical center of Rome it's difficult to add many indication but we have the sign outside the door on the street like every hotel in Rome and if you called us we provided you with pleasure all indications. We only booked for one night as it was a 'mini break' within a holiday on the coast but we would certainly return to Ripetta for a longer stay. The rooms are fabulously designed & decorated & certainly on the luxurious side.Very classy. The entrance is very discreet - which adds to the select feel of the rooms. The discounted breakfast in Porto di Ripetta just round the corner is very good but a bit pricey, we thought. Overall, thoroughly recommended
