“Great service”

Lovely hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant is superb. Good location, less than 10 minutes walk to Spanish Steps but still peaceful. I would expect more services as standard rather than extra costs though - 5 star hotel and no free WiFi, very limited amount of TV channels?

“Boutique Luxury Hotel”

Staff were excellent. We had a problem upon arrival (bath had overflowed and damaged several rooms) so we were shipped out to their sister 5 star hotel. Next day when we returned we were given a very large room. This was followed by chocolates and champagne and a birthday card for my wife. Ate in the hotel restaurant (very expensive) food very good but not worth the expense. They overcooked my steak but to be fair they replaced both of our meals so we were eating at the same time. Location is good for trhe Spanish Steps and Trvi Fountain although when you return to the hotel it is up a long hill. Suggestion go into Spagna metro (no need to buy a ticket) and follow signs for Villa Borghese. It takes you via a system of escalators and moving walkways to a point higher than the hotel. It is then a 5 minute walk. Beware that exit closes at 10pm! All hotel staff were excellent and knew me by name.

“Birthday in Rome”

Weekend away to celebrate my husbands birthday. Fabulous old style Italian hotel, incredible art works and sumptuous decor throughout. Delux room was very comfortable , the bathroom was a little cramped but lovely old marble fittings. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor with stunning views over Rome. Excellent selection of cheeses, meats, bread, pastries, fruits as well as hot food. We had dinner at the Michelin starred Mirabelle restaurant on the 7th floor. Incredible views of Rome by night, opulent decor, attentive staff. Dinner was a little rushed and not the most impressive for such a rated restaurant. This is an expensive restaurant but is missing some of the finer touches associated with such a rating. Overall experience was very positive and due to central location would definitely return but dine at some of the many incredible restaurants in Rome.

“Anniversary Treat”

We stayed 5 nights for our anniversary celebration and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room, general hotel areas and the breakfast were superb. Views from the Limonia breakfast room were excellent with trees and sights such as Saint Peters Basilica in the distance. We would definitely stay again.

“Fantastic place for romantic break”

This is an excellent hotel where everything is to the highest of standards. Our room was beautifully furnished and decorated. The maid service was excellent with attention to the smallest detail. The location was very convenient for central Rome and only a few minutes away from the Spanish steps. There is a good choice of decent restaurants in the vicinity and lots of nice little places to eat breakfast ( we didn't have the breakfast option at the hotel ) If ever we return to Rome this hotel will definitely be where we stay!

“Couples haven”

A very adult hotel. Great location, quiet but close to sites. Food out of our price range, but breakfast was fresh and varied, just expensive. 35 euros per head!

“First Time in Rome, First Time in 5*, not the last”

Where-ever you go, you'll always be able to find little itsy-bitsy that you don't like, or which could be better or improved. Perfection does not exist. We were over the moon with the reception of the personnel, the comfort and the cleanliness. People were so nice to us. We did not try the hotel restaurant, as we did go out every night, so we won't judge on that.

“A wonderful hotel”

We had a deluxe room on the fifth floor overlooking the park. The room was beautiful with a large dressing area and huge bathroom. The towels were changed twice a day, linen everyday. Reception staff were knowledgeable and spoke perfect english. We could find no fault with the hotel and would certainly stay there again. Hotel is 10 minutes away from the spanish steps but be warned it is quite an uphill walk back to the hotel, especially after a days sightseeing. The Mirabelle resturant is a delightful experience with wonderful food and wine but VERY expensive.
