Great place close to Termini station
This is a great, economic hotel unbelievably close to the Termini train station but still nice and quiet. It's pretty basic but comfy beds and good hot shower so no complaints! They didn't have our request for a twin room (2 beds) and said we had to have a double bed which was disappointing but eventually after some strong requesting we got a room with 2 beds. The only bad thing was that my friend left something in the room which was valuable and when we called a few hours later to come back to collect it they didn't have it - so the cleaner must have taken it. Spoilt our Rome trip as usually a hotel will keep "lost and found" items at least a day surely?

Good location but cheap hotel
Location is great but is not clean. Bathroom is not so functional. Shower is only 1.5 feet wide and impossible to take shower even if you are a skinny person. Microwave was placed in room but nowhere to plug it. Most power plugs were loose and not holding properly

The room was fine. A 2 minute walk to Termini train station, very convenient. Quiet at night which was surprising considering how busy the immediate neighborhood is. Only negative was breakfast, which was not good, even compared to other inexpensive hotels I've stayed in in the same area.

Terrible Hotel
This hotel was dusty and run down. Shower door was a plastic sheet that didn’t shut properly covered in mould. Took over 20 minutes for the shower to run warm and the AC did not work. The stairs were dangerous and the lift seemed not reliable. Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. The beds had no duvets just incredibly scratchy blankets. Fire alarm in each room flashes green lights all night making it nearly impossible to sleep.

Great basic, decent hotel. Helpful front desk staff. Ideally situated on a street right across from the Roma Termini train station. Many restaurants and cafes in the area.

It’s a great location if you arrive by train. I don’t like hotels that control the room temp from the desk. So hot that only opening the windows helped. The bed is much too hard. The desk staff was great, and although it could use updating it was a good stay overall

The room was good and clean, the staff was very kind, but most days I had to call the reception because there was no hot water on the shower, and they also charged me 26 extra euros on the check out that they wouldn’t let me pay with my card, only cash, even tho when I did my reservation it didn’t said I would have to pay that.

Can't fault it for the money
I booked this hotel for me and my 10 year old as we needed a base to explore from. I didn't therefore want to waste money on a 4-5* hotel when we would only be there for sleeping. I was a little apprehensive but that all proved to be unnecessary when we arrived. The location, next to the train station, is perfect. Easy walk to all the main attractions and access to the metro if you don't want to walk. Nice to have the bag drop facility on the last day. The hotel itself was fine. Loads of old character and my daughter loved the old lift. The room was big, spacious and clean and the bathroom was massive. The bedding and towels fresh and clean. We had a lovely view from the windows across the rooftops of Rome. It was quiet at night. I really can't fault the hotel for the money.

Great location, very close from the train station so we were able to come back for a quick rest throughout the day, which was perfect. It’s on the quieter side of the station so we were able to enjoy local cafes and restaurants around the hotel.

Very basic hotel. Stayed for 2 nights in a single room. The size of the room was fine, but the bed was tiny and not very comfortable. The shower was good. The aircon couldn't be adjusted and it was very cold. I needed an extra blanket despite it being very hot outside. Also the electrical sockets are old and my plugs didn't fit. I had to charge my phone in the TV. On the plus side, the hotel is a minute walk from Termini station. I didn't have breakfast

Booked this property for location near train station. The clean bathroom looked as though work was left unfinished as toilet seat and drains were left uninstalled. Front desk stated problems would be addressed, but that never happened.

The best thing about the Hotel Corot was its proximity to the Termini in Rome, a five minute walk at most. It is clean enough and my room had a great bathroom with a Jacuzzi. It seems slightly better than the norm for the neighborhood and is not bad on price. I had to leave on the train, so it was perfect for that purpose. The neighborhood is heavily tourism oriented, so I would not stay here for a general visit to the city.

Excellent location within walking distance of Roma Termini which could be a starting point for any other destinations. The hotel is small, clean and respectable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room just looks and feels dusty and unpleasant The bathroom is a joke, the door to the shower is a weird sliding plastic thing and after every shower it was flooded I tried reaching the hotel both on the ‘contact property’ option on Expedia and both on email - the never answered The cherry on top - if you want to turn on the AC you need to call the reception, there is no remote

First visit to Rome and loved it. Hotel in a good spot and it served my needs for the 3 nights I was there. All of the staff I encountered bar one were wonderful. I chatted to reception staff about the one staff member that was just not interested in helping me.

Small, old and dated
The hotel was very dated and the rooms were very small. although a good location to the train station the walls re very thin and as a Delaney solo traveller I did not feel safe and would therefore not recommend.

The electricity power shut off the whole day of July 21, 2023 until evening were there have no lights in stairs which is very dangerous and of course no ACU at the middle of Rome is experiencing heat wave. We cant sleep that night and they gave us compensation to refund the cost of 1 day stay. The problem now is how to get this refund from expedia. This place is conveniently located steps away from Rome Termini. There was a very nice gentlemen on the front desk when we did the check in, he spoke Spanish and was very helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel after check out, that was convenient.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station and they had laundry services. The laundry services turn out to be a friend of the front desk person who had a laundry business around the corner. The room was OK, dirty walls. It was noisy, but that was because we were so close to the train station. Next time in Rome I'm not sure I would stay here again.
