“fabulous”

on arrival, staff were particularly friendly and helpful. our room was lovely and faced on to Via Veneto. Breakfast lovely and it was possible to sit outside on verandah or inside in the shade. good choice, cooked and continental. A bottle of champagne appeared in our room as it was our anniversary which was a lovely touch. good location in central rome near most popular sites, but away from hustle and bustle. would definintely recommend and stay there again.

“Expensive location”

Excellent service, comfortable, very good breakfast, all in all a good hotel. The location is close to the metro and an easy walk to many attractions. However Via Veneto is not what it was. There are fine looking buildings but the eating places are all very similar and represent poor value. Still its easy to find a district with places that locals eat in so this hotel is well worth considering.

“Grand Old hotel”

Grand hotel with excellent staff. We had a twin room so not one of their best at the back of the hotel (308) but more than adequate. Superb marble bathroom with twin basins Excellent location on the Via Veneto with Barberini metro within 2 mins walk.

“Hotel in Rome”

I had a very bad situation when I arrived, following a long flight from Singapore and the hotel reception staff were very helpful. I found the Breakfast Room staff very helpful and friendly. The worst thing was that one day I returned about 4 pm to rest, after a day's walking and my room had not been cleaned. My room was quite small and storage space very sparse. The bathroom was fine, however. I found the hotel very centrally and conveniently placed.

“Great location - easy access to so many things”

We stayed for four nights and loved it. We had a very efficient but also friendly welcome. We were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of our room on the fifth floor. The view wasn't great but it was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included in our deal and it was excellent. With the exchange rate as it is, breakfast outside can be quite costly. The Ambasciatori Palace provided an ample selection of fruit, cereals, cold meats, pastries, cheese and a small selection of hot items. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were available but the fruit juices did taste as though they had been watered down. All in all it was a very good experience and I would definitely stay there again.

“A memorable experience for the right reasons”

We stayed for five nights during May, we were aware of some of the adverse reports on Tripadvisor but we very much enjoyed our stay at the Ambasciatori Palace. The location was perfect for the Berberino Metro & a pleasant 15min walk to the Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps. The concierge was extremely helpful with recomending local restaurants, bar prices are high but that's typical for Rome & the breakfasts were excellent; we didn't use the hotel restaurant for dinner as we preferred to try the local cusine. The staff were very friendly & helpful so overall based on our experience I would recommend this hotel. I don't belive it has a gym or pool but that didn't concern us.

“Hotel”

Entrance, reception, bar and dining area impressive but rooms in need of refreshing in terms of decorating. Staff very friendly. Hotel in excellent position. Plenty of good restaurants nearby as well as underground station.
