Very nice hotel in Downtown RiversidePosted 14-Apr-2014
We stayed for two nights and loved it. They give you breakfast in the morning, all you can eat with your stay at the Hyatt. You do have to pay $10 for parking. That's downtown for you I guess. But the room was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We had the room with two queen beds and the living room area with a couch that pulled out to a bed as well. Nice!!

Riverside Hyatt - a great place to stay!Posted 08-Apr-2014
Ebony checked us in and could not find our reservation. I made it through Expedia.com. After she called them she got everything squared away and with a cheerful smile apologized for the delay in our check in. She was so very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay & would love to stay here again when we 're in the area.

luxurious hotelPosted 29-Mar-2014
Pros: spacious room, comfortable beds breakfast was included and was extensive
Cons: needs signs from the parking lot to the hotel lobby. swimming pool hours should be extended
Location: didn't see much; it's close to UC Riverside
We did a lot of travelling looking at colleges up and down the California coast. This was the nicest hotel that we stayed in. the room was spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Good kid placePosted 19-Feb-2014
Pros: Size of rooms
Cons: The echo from the pool, sound. the couches look old.
Location: I like the shops, fox theater, museum of art.
Great experience, great price. My only problem is WHY did they build the swimming pool in the middle. It should be called an indoor pool. No sun.

They over book their roomsPosted 17-Feb-2014
I stayed here for Valentines Day.booked a king size bed. They failed to honor it instead put me in a room with two beds. They obviously over booked their rooms and tried to blame everybody else.

Nice new hotel. . .convenient locationPosted 21-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is rather new. . .easy to find in the downtown area. . .just a block from The Mission Inn (which is where I will stay next time. . .love old hotels). But the Hyatt is a good deal. . .easy parking (which the clerk waived since I had to wait a few minutes to check in), spacious/clean room, excellent downtown location close to the interstate. The check in area is a bit confusing at first. . .one U shaped desk of sorts that looks more like a check out for food items, since the food and snacks are all up front. . .doesn't really look like a check in desk. I thought the free computer area was the check in when I first walked in. The only other negative comment was that the check in workers weren't dressed very professionally. They wore street clothes. . .really not even nice outfits at that. They looked like they had just come from class or a rushed from home. I think some "uniform" would have given a more professional "feel" to the place. The free breakfast was fine. . .busy with soccer families but the food was good and plentiful. I would stay here again, especially since it's in the downtown area within walking area to restaurants and clubs and the Mission Inn, which makes a wonderful walk to view the historic hotel. For $50 more I'll stay at the Mission Inn at least one time and come back to the Hyatt for the savings and convenience.
