Only downside is the hotel is located a long way from the more “backpacker” areas of Tapovan and Laxman Jhula, and the journey up there is not very pleasant as Rishikesh is quite hectic and polluted."

As westerners, we just can’t handle the spiciness of Indian cuisine, and the staff was very accommodating. They remembered to make sure we had food at every meal that was delicious. We enjoyed the Aarti at the main hotel as well, but liked the atmosphere of Holy Water better. We can’t say enough good things about the hotel. "
