Well the hotel is a bit old, but still convenient to stay. Also a varied breakfast every day would be attractive. Overall I would rate the property as appropriate as it is not far from the copacabana beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants.

There was blood stains on the bedding sheets, and the bed itself was quite uncomfortable, air conditioning didn’t work well, toilet was clogged. The Breakfast was really great, surprisingly so. The ONLY good thing about my stay at this hotel.

Terrivel! As fotos não condizem com a realidade. Os quartos e corredores fedem a mofo, banheiro tem vazamento por todos lados, parede do quarto com o reboco aparecendo por obra não finalizada, piscina com água turva desde o primeiro dia. Os hóspedes reclamavam poor todo lado dos mesmos problemas. Café da manhã simples e repetitivo. A governanta Luciana é grossa e estupida com os hóspedes. Mas o cúmulo foi no checkout, onde tivemos que pagar por bebidas alcoólicas não consumidas, com assinaturas falsas na nota de pedido, e mesmo explicando ao funcionário que aquilo era um erro, o mesmo pouco se importou e disse que não sairíamos de lá sem pagar. Pagamos porque era 3am e precisávamos ir pro aeroporto. Se negaram a fornecer nota fiscal. Ficou claro a prática se estelionato e que aquilo era um combinado entre os funcionários pra roubar dinheiro dos hóspedes. Vou fazer um boletim de ocorrência. Não vão a esse hotel. A estadia toda foi um inferno.

It's not up to your typical US hotel standards... but you're not in the US. It met our needs. It was reasonably clean, and the food was great. Wonderful location.

Really old and run down hotel. From towels to sheets and blankets it was all very old and stained. Dark and sad peach wall colors. Pretty lobby and good location… but you’ll feel back in the 70’s

Lo bueno del hotel es que tiene buena ubicación. Lo malo es que el nombre es diferente. Entonces tuvimos confusión a la hora de llegar. El estacionamiento se cobra aparte de la estancia... En la habitación el olor no es agradable, las toallas están muuuy viejas y hasta rotas, nos encontramos con cabellos y marcas de suciedad de los huéspedes anteriores en el baño. Honestamente el Hotel tiene muchas áreas de oportunidad.

The stay was good, however, I did not like the fact that when we booked the property on the Expedia site we were told we had to pay £455 for our 9 nights when checking in. However on the day, we were asked to pay £516 pounds which was more expensive than the actual booking itself and when converting the amount it was nearly twice what we had to pay in the Brazilian currency.

The nicest part of the hotel was the rooftop pool but the advertised food and bar services were closed. The staff were very accommodating about bringing food and drinks to the pool. The misleading description of the hotel location fails to mention the hotel is located next to a traffic tunnel. Ultimately it was difficult to walk around the neighborhood or find a local restaurant. Best thing to do, take taxis. I noticed mention of "VIP" benefits in this review -- what VIP benefits?

Staff was helpful with tours or bus routes to explore the city. Breakfast was good. Overall a great hotel not far from Copacabana. I will definitely recommend it!!

Hotel room are big, the beds somewhat comfortable I think this hotel is a 3 star, cleaning are not good, the hotel is old needs air conditioning in the elevators and hallways and more for the heats of Rio. The vicinity to the hotel is not all good much dirt in the streets.They are very attentive and breakfast is varied. About 5 or 6 blocks from the sea. If you want to save money and walk the streets of Copacabana, I recommend it. The security on the streets is good, (now) there was a lot of police activity. We did not have any problem.

Everything really good only felt like walls where thin so had to make my love exercise 9-10 oclock not to wake up everyone since copacbana became a familly destination more then party destination if you know what i mean
