Nice stay at this hotel. Railway tracks nearby so hear trains going by. Staff very friendly, but no one at front desk after 6:00 pm. They have self checkin after 6:00 pm.

There were no additional blankets in the room for when it was cold at night and the kitchen was not well set up to cook a meal. The door on our room did not close well, so there was always a draft coming in. The room was reasonably clean and the beds were fine.

The room was clean, the area around the hotel was quiet. It had adequate parking. Quite enjoyed our stay.

My room was spacious, but that's about it for the good. My bed was lopsided. The bedding did not smell fresh. There was no one at the counter to report issues to after 6pm. I was not at my room before 6pm, I couldn't check out, get a refund, and go somewhere else. I was stuck with the room, felt like it was a cash grab trap. I do not intend to say it was filthy, or that the sheets were slept on and unwashed. Rather the state of cleanliness was below standard (found an arrow root cookie under the chair, and the sheets smelled like they were washed with just water. I will definitely not be staying here again, there are far better options in the area.

LIKE Staff were fantastic Room was terrific and I loved the pillows on my bed It was close to the Rider Express bus stop. Restaurants close by. In the hub of the river walking tracks.so I did walk everywhere. A short walk to down town and museums, groceries and commercial shops. Local shuttle bus stop out front and a short walk for the ski resort. DIDNT LIKE:- Couldn’t turn the heating down over night. Some guests were noisy at night in the car parking area

I’ll start by saying that the price point was good but everything else was awful. The floors were covered with hair and what appeared to be crumbs. The heat/air conditioners are incredibly loud and the train that passes every two hours kept us awake all night. I could have survived the noise, but in combination with how dirty the room was I will never recommend this place to anyone, even at the affordable price.

No hot water between 4:30/5 to 7pm, after a day of skiing it’s hard to warm up. no restocking of coffee or tea or cups or toilet paper. Hot tub was broken.

Neither the inside or outside hot tub was working and no breakfast is available any longer. The new owners are clearly running the old Days Inn down without putting any more money into it. Used to go there every year - not returning in the future.

It was just ok for the 2 nights that we stayed. One can notice that the property needs upgrading. The room smelled mildewey and the toilet wobbled when sat upon.

Property charged me $150 for leaving garbage in the room. Sink never worked and hot water went out. They stole my security deposit because there was food left in the fridge. I left an 80 dollar brand new blender for them to keep as well just to be nice and then this is how they treated me.

This hotel has gone downhill. Their hottub is closed and will not be open until this summer. There was no hot water in the rooms, we couldnt have a hot shower - no matter what time it was at. We checked out early in the morning and there was no hot water at 6 am. There was no room cleaning while there. We had to go get our own towels, coffee, and anything else we needed. We had to take out our own garbages. Worst hotel experience, we stayed at days inn for the last 15 years and now that its new ownership and under Northwinds, the hotel has gone downwards. We will never stay here again.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Unfortunately, when we bought the property from Days Inn the hot tubs were not in working order. We are hopeful that they will be available soon, but do not have a set date. We want to apologize that you did not have hot water during your stay. Our maintenance team has resolved the issue since your stay and we thank you for bringing it to our attention. On our confirmation email it is stated that we do not offer a stay over service. However our front desk team is happy to bring up extra towels, coffee, and other amenities if and when you require them. Our renovations will occur this spring and we will operational again in 6-7 months! Once complete we would love another opportunity to give you a better experience.

Queen suite is a good and roomy option for if you want three beds in the same room. Shower was nice and warm. Good communication about the shovelling of the parking lot, although a bit of salt would've helped the slipperiness in the morning. The hallways and room smelled like old cigarette smoke, and there was a lot of noise in the hallways from other guests.
