"We recently stayed at De Vere Wokefield Estate and had a mixed but generally positive experience. The estate itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning grounds and impressive facilities that make it feel like a special destination. The amenities were good, and there was plenty to enjoy during our stay.
However, the room was a little disappointing compared to the rest of the property. It felt somewhat dated and dingy, and could definitely benefit from some updating to better match the quality of the estate and the room upgrade we had expected.
Service was also a bit inconsistent. There were three of us staying in the room, but only two towels were provided. We requested additional towels, including some for the pool, but unfortunately they never arrived despite our asking.
Overall, the gorgeous setting and facilities made for an enjoyable stay, but improvements to the rooms and more attentive service would make a significant difference and help the experience live up to the property's potential."
