Only if you need to stay close to the bus station
The hotel is very quaint. Rooms are very small, but clean. Very little hot water. We arrived very late (1 am) but there was staff available to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator). Although staff spoke no English, we were finally able to communicate our needs. They were very kind and patient with us. The only reason we stayed here was because we had a very early bus to catch.

Receptionist don't accept expedia reservation
Hotel staff didn't accept Expedia reservation which was shown through Mobile App and Email. Instead the receptionist was rude and demanded paper reservation. She made use of the untimely hour we checked in to charge us 150% of the base rate we booked through Expedia . Horrible hotel but stayed just because it is close to Quitumbe Terminal. Avoid if you can arrange other options.

This was a last minute booking and though the staff were friendly and helpful the room was tiny and had windows opening on the communal staircase - you could hear every noise.

Don't Do It-Rip Off
There was no hot water and we were told to keep it on for 5 minutes and it would get there. We waited 20 minutes and never had any, so we decided to wait until we were at the next hotel since we got in late. We asked for a wake up knock since we had a flight and they knocked 22 minutes after they were supposed to. Thank goodness my cel phone woke me up.I would never stay there again.

Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel near the Quitumbe bus terminal. This is the reason I stay here to catch an early morning bus south. Staff very helpful. I requested an airport pick-up. They were there waiting for me. Nice vehicle. Have stayed here three other times and will no doubt be there again. One item of concern: I am sure I had left something of value in my room upon leaving. They said they did not find it. I will leave it at that.

An excellent choice, located in a strategic place
The property is located in a strategic location near the bus station in Quito, which allowed me to meet many attractions like the Cotopaxi Volcano, Otavalo, Quito and then take my bus right there to go to the city Banos. The staff is very attentive, I was given many indications maps sightseeing, visiting places efficiently and get the most out of my time, room was very clean and spotless bathroom, would recommend to a friend.

Dingy hotel near the bus station
We chose this hotel for the proximity to the bus station (we arrived late at night and left early the next morning for Banos). The hotel wasn't dirty, but it was dingy, dark, and unwelcoming. I'm glad we only stayed there for one evening.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever!
This was absolutely the worst hotel experience ever. I have traveled all over the world and can honestly say this was a giant mistake. The staff charged us for things without authorization, thier shuttle service was $ 70 and then would not provide a ride back to the airport. The room stunk of urine and there was evidence of rodents on the property. Dogs howled and barked all night and the traffic noise was incessant. The manager or owner had a bed right behind the check in counter, right there in the lobby! They refused any reasonable request. The bell boy actually told the cab driver to try and over charge us. This was told to us by the cabbie who also told us the place has a terrible reputation locally as well. Stay away from this rip off joint. Do yourself a huge favor.

Kindest regards of those who make up the Hotel Gran Quitumbe The charge was made based on the reservation you made was a Twin Room which costs $ 45, your reservation was modality payment on arrival you had to pay for it at the hotel but unfortunately you thought by data the credit card provided at the time of booking the payment thereof had already been made but you failed to grasp the explanation given by the members of our reception. You are bothered by the shuttle from the airport to our hotel provided Hotel you, you make a call in which he was told the fee the same cost of $ 35 which is the same as a regular taxi I was treated very badly the person who gave him the same service obviously will refuse to serve again for the transfer from the hotel to the airport. With respect to other situations you had exclaimed very grotesque and threatening the staff would make a bad comment that our staff tried hard to give any explanation you throw your credit card and your payment was signed by you in Ecuador if person does not agree with paying just no signature and no way to make the payment thereof. We are confident That We provide an opportunity to serve you again and Have the opportunity to offer our warm and personalized service Have a very good life Atte Byron Suntaxi Hotel Gran Quitumbe

Ok for one night
We stayed one night as it's close to bus station and we wanted an early start. Staff very friendly but room tiny and so was the bed......however for one night and for the money it was good value. It was very clean. Only one place to eat you could walk to but excellent and cheap food.

A little cramped, nice staff
Our hotel room was quite nice and clean but really cramped! The bed was also a bit too small for two people and not very comfortable. The tap was only cold water; however, the shower was excellent. The staff were really friendly and nice, but didn't speak any English (except for 1guy). The neighborhood isn't the nicest, but the hotel is very conveniently close to a bus station.

This Hotel Is Not Near The Old Town
Google Maps was wrong when we booked this. It showed this hotel right in the middle of the Old Town (Centro Historico). We booked from the U.S., and were very surprised when we arrived. It was a long way from anything that a first time visitor to Quito would want to see, to my eyes. The staff, though limited English, was very nice. At least one of the staff (owner?) already seemed to be aware of Google's error when I showed him the map, which was disappointing. The hotel was nice enough, I guess, though the halls and room were very dark. We checked out virtually immediately, and did not stay the night. I do not know, as yet, whether they charged us for the room. We had initially booked two nights through Expedia, and when we discovered the location, we changed to just one night. We only did this because we were waiting on lost luggage from LAN (another story). An hour or two later, we decided to leave anyway, told LAN of the change, and booked at the Hotel Patio Andaluz (nice) right in the historical center.

Close to Express Bus Station
Great location if you need to catch the express bus to other places in Ecuador. Located in the southern part of the city and long ride from airport. Arrived in Quito late at night but easy taxi ride to the hotel and flawless check in. Restaurant was closed due to owner hurt in an accident but enough restaurants were close by to choose from.

Good Place For Main Bus Station In South Quito.
This hotel is in the far south of Quito and so is not easy to get to from the airport. As people know, most flights tend to arrive late in Quito, so it is a long drive by taxi to the south of Quito. However.. This place is very handy for the Quitumbe bus station. So if you are already in Ecuador , then this hotel is just 150 metres away and is also adjacent to the trolley system that is easy to follow. So all parts of Quito are within easy reach during the day, via El Recto, where you can change to other routes. This hotel is very quiet and in a safe area, but there are no shops around for food etc. The bus station is the only alternative and the food there is patchy as well as the ambience, despite it being new and clean. I would stay there again , if I came in by bus as it is so convenient despite the 20 dollar price.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The single person room I was in was quite small, but sufficient. The room was very quiet even with the traffic outside. Very clean. I only spent one night here. Will definitely be back. The hotel is across the street from the Quitumbe bus station. One could walk it, but for $1.00 I took a cab. The only negative item is they could have turned the water temperature up more. The shower was not warm.

バスターミナルから徒歩5分
バスターミナルから非常に近い場所にあり とても便利です。空港からタクシーですと 約30分程度で、30〜35ドルになります。深夜のチェックインも問題ありませんでした。

Nous sommes arrivés tard après avoir fait plus d'une heure d'autobus à partir de l'aéroport Quito. Nous avons été très bien reçus. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel parce que nous devions prendre l'autobus le lendemain matin tôt et il est effectué très bien situé, soit à 5 minutes à pied du terminus. Le déjeuner offert est assez de base mais il ne coûte que 2,50$ par personne. Je recommanderais cet hôtel pour un court séjour.

Don't stay this hotel !!!!!!!
This hotel is horrible. I travel for 6monthes but i've had bad experiences like here. The restaurant in hotel is very dirty. They didn't wash dishes and forks. It looks just leave for long time. This hotel will not keep your luggage after you check out. You must pay $35, then you can take place for your luggage. There are 4 staff i saw. They are rude and only want your money. There's no elevator, so one of them will help you. You must give them tip to make them go out from your room. And there around hotel has many hostels and hotels. So you don't need to book accomodation. Actually I didn't know that around bus terminal has many accomdation with good price. You can find out early. only $10~12. Breakfast is poor and disgusting. I can't see dirty things...!!! Even They say good bye when we leave!! Stay far from this hotel if you want to have good time!!

Parte 1 : Soy cubanoamericano (exiliado) y despues de una separacion por mas de 5 anos decidimos un reencuentro con mi mejor amigo ( cubano , residente en la isla) y mi expareja( cubano , residente en la isla) . Escogimos este lugar por la cercania a la terminal . Yo habia sacado una habitacion para una persona y otra para dos por internet.

EXCELENTE CALIDAD / PRECIO, BUENA LIMPIEZA
Muy cómodo, limpio y bien mantenido el hotel. Lo mejor es que no usa alfombras en las habitaciones. Baño amplio. Camas cómodas. Internet relativamente rápido, ubicación estratégica en el terminal de autobuses ademas el hotel es manejado por sus propietarios q se desviven por atender tus necesidades, Lo tendré en mente para una próximo hospedaje!

Muy mala experiencia
Quitumbe no es un Hotel. Es un motel, obviamente no es apropiado para un viaje con familia como fue mi caso Mientras a mi me ponían todo tipo de trabas porque no llevaba la reserva impresa, entraban y salín parejas ( de todas las fachas) a las que les cobraban usd$18 por el rato. El personal que ayendia la noche en que llegoa eran dis tipos, uno que tenia uno aue estaba durmiendo en un colchon detrás del mostrador. El edificio esta ubicado en un sector no muy recomendable. NO LO RECOMIENDO
