Good place to stay with good value after discount
Good hotel in exact centre of Prague. So if you are for turism or fast visit and like to stay in city centre in walkable distance to everything .... this is a good place to stay. Bit older, lack of poweroutlets at room, i do not think they have climatization (luckily i did not need to run it as night was cold). Reception is only till 7 p.m. otherwise you get a code to entry etc. not a typical hotel. Breakfast very decent and like it much. Price lets say for current overpriced time better one, however it was on last moment discount, definitelly not worth to pay full price.

Sweet and simple
Really sweet and simple place! Location is perfect, staff are so so friendly! Bit confusing when first going in but other than that I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

Affordable and clean
The place was clean and crew were well trained to do their job. It was close to the old town square and where the action was. Metro station was a 10-minute walk - for those who need metro ride. Twin beds were a bit small (welcome to Europe lol). Last but not least I was happy with the breakfast.

The beds were kinda hard that is my only complaint but I would fully recommend this place. The location is absolutely perfect you are a two minute walk one way to the new part the two minutes the other way to the old part. Great value for the price and the breakfast was amazing!

This hotel was very secure. The staff were helpful when we arrived before check in time. It is really central and only a few yards from the main square. It is quite traditionally furnished, which we liked. All very keen. Good breakfast.

Our room was clean and comfortable and we had no issues.Breakfast was far too crowded with no tables available for ages and nobody understood english enough to replenish the food or cutlery

What a fantastic hotel find, we chose this hotel on the ebookers site using the map and what a find, if you are visiting Prague then this hotel is just meters away from everything... We found a yearlong market within 20 mtrs of the front door, the main square is 5 mins walk and the large museum is 15 mins walk. The rooms were comfortable they leave coffee and tea on a table in reception so you can have a warm drink when you return... The breakfast was great with a cooked section and cold meats, cheeses and fruit and yogurt and cereals to. The staff are friendly and were always there to answer questions... The only downside I would say for the whole experience is the reception and hotel is on the first floor and there is no lift so you have to take the 25 steps up to the hotel.

Although my entire atau was paid for, when I got to the hotel I was asked for a deposit for my stay there, as a guarantee. I was given the deposit back when i checked out, but it was still unusual. And the hotel has no elevator. Other than this, it was all ok. Really warm and cosy inside, great location and good breakfast. Would surely return here and recommend the hotel to anyone who's in Prague for a couple of days.

Super cute little hotel, located in an old building right in the center of old town. The location is simply perfect ! Surrounded by tons of restaurants and coffee shops , and all the stores. The room was surprisingly big , clean , modern bathroom , comfy and beds and pullows . Breakfast was included and pretty decent . Overall, I like this hotel and would recommend it .

Don’t be put off by the entrance, the hotel is clean, quiet and very friendly. It’s typically Czech, a bit quaint and comfortable. Firm bed, good shower. All clean. Incredible location right between Wenceleslas Sq and Prague Old Town. Perfect short break. Ooh good breakfast too.

Excellent location
Excellent location in Old Town. Walking distance to major points of interest. The hotel needs some update. Only washroom was new. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good and there was coffee/tea and sweets all day. Stairs to go to reception area, so be ready to carry your luggage 2 floors up.

Totally Just Fine For A Traveler Or Your Parents
I stayed here for my last night in Prague. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable and normal. The bathroom was super clean and looked recently upgraded. Breakfast was EXCELLENT, I was really impressed. The hotel is in a great location, shops and Old Town are just outside the door. If you’re hungry just step outside and take two right turns, you will find yourself walking down an alley full of restaurants and pubs.

Excellent location
I stayed at Melantrich during the Easter holiday. The Hotel has an uninviting entrance, one needs to buzz the door then walk up two levels to reach the reception but once inside you are pleasantly surprised. I had a single room, with a window towards the interior court, very quiet, clean, comfortable bed and what it looked like new or refurbished bathroom.Breakfast offered enough variety for every taste. The best thing about the Hotel is the location literally, three minutes walk to the Old Town Square where the Astronomical Clock is located and maybe another five minutes to the Charles Bridge.

one staff member *(female) in particular was great....offered to mail a letter for me. what a shame i can't remember her name. she worked at my arrival on nov friday nov 10 pm and again sunday 12th pm, but did not work monday 13th. very helpful. others ok but less so . main problem was the walk/climb up to 4th floor with heavy luggage. the hotel should advise no elevator. this is a place for young folks with minimal luggage

The lobby of the hotel is one floor above the ground level with no access to elevator. Some rooms are at higher floor, again without elevator. I bellive it must be stated cleary that the hotel hads no elevator and guests are responsible for taking their luggage to their room climbing two, or may be mor, flights. The hotel is not senior friendly. I also believe it's the responsibility of Expedia to make sure hotels state clearly in their website, that no elevator service

Very glad we stayed here, perfect location!
The entrance to the hotel is very inauspicious and might have given me second thoughts, it is strange but don't let that throw you. Excellent location, good breakfast and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was smallish by American standards and that was just fine. We were in Room 37 which was super quiet and had a wonderfully firm mattress. Shower stall was a little awkward, like many European hotels they seem to have been added on later.

Fantastic experience in Prague
The hotel is very easy to find, 5 minutes from metro, 3 minutes to old square, in a fantastic location. Our room was comfortable, good tv reception, quiet, secure,and with everything we needed. The staff were very accommodating and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was excellent, the best we have ever had in Europe. Right across the street is a restaurant (sign in part says Czech food) which was reasonably priced, no chemicals or hormones, with excellent service and food. Metro green line is very close and from airport take bus to metro and 6 stops to Musek station. The people were friendly, architecture incredible everywhere you looked. Very clean city. The hotel was fantastic, beds comfortable, and quiet.

Good location. Easy to Walk to every where. However, the hotel has neither parking place, nor elevator! Room condition is pretty old. Curtains are not wider enough to cover the windows.

Great location, though a bit of a walk from the train station. Once there very easy walk to the Old part of town and the Charles Bridge. Very nice staff and good free breakfast included which had ham, turkey, cheese and bread; enough to make a sandwich and not have to eat elsewhere for lunch! Very friendly staff. We had to leave before breakfast started to catch a train and they offered to pack a breakfast for us if we wished. Old building, so no elevator and no air conditioning. The did have a fan in the room, but fortunately we were not there during a heat wave, or this may not have been enough.
