"This is by far the best resort I have ever stayed at. My husband and I arrived for our honeymoon and from the second we showed up, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter which made getting to and from the area very easy. You are about 5 minutes away from Kamala beach and about 20 minutes away from Patong beach. "My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...
