The location is great, close to 3 metro lines and walking distance to Montmatre. The staff were all very friendly and we loved the layout of the room. Our kids loved sleeping downstairs and we parents liked being in our own space after bedtime.

The hotel is very outdated and needs repairs. Despite the condition, I can see its beauty when it is in its days of glory. The staff are very welcoming abs accommodating. The location is good. Walking distance to the metro and a lot of shops and cafes around.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is charming, but if I am being picky, the property itself needs some renovations. It is ideally located and can really benefit being renovated. Some attentions to details such as cleaning under the bed and around the bedside tables would do a lot of good. The bathrooms are a little outdated as well and can benefit from a change of appliances (especially the shower heads).

It has that great old French style. The staff members were more than friendly and welcoming. From baggage hold to transportation guidance. Wish the Air Conditioning was stronger in the rooms but everything was perfect for me and my family.

Classic hotel, has character, and is clean, but is not luxurious. Nice staff, convenient family room with 2 beds and double bed, but small. Parking nearby, 3-4 min walking Priced rather high, but 'it's Paris'..

They close at night and lock you out. No one answers the phone to let you in. I spend 10 minutes knocking on the door before a rude attendant came to the doors and told me to bring up my concerns to the manager. The next day, the manager apologized for not having a call number listed on the door. Clearly they do this regularly. I opened a window to let some fresh air in. It could not close and when asked for help to get is closed, it’s as if I was bothering the attendant.

I told the Night who should have put a note with his phone number to be called when he is doing his tour of the hotel. Simply OK. I had to go out and buy tea bags and cups as there was only a single one use cup in the room and one tea bag. I think most of the remorse come from the hotel advertising itself as a 4 star facility. They are setting themselves up to fail. the hotel is nowhere near 4 star standard, though the price tag can reflect it.

Convenient location, spacious room
The hotel's location couldn't be better. Too bad the hotel's restaurant wasn't available when I wanted to dine on Sunday due to Covid, but there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Wonderful charming authentic place to stay while in Paris. Was treated like family and the room was perfect with a comfy bed and a nice view of the area outside our window. Would definitely stay there again…right smack dab in the middle of “all things Paris!”

It is what you'd expect from hotel in Paris. I was impressed and satisfied. Huge and comfortable bed, all the red and gold details are quintessence of parisian good taste. If you dream a little you can taste love and romance on an evening walk. Good for an extraordinary stays.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. We were not able to check in until 10pm because they were “short staffed” and couldn’t get the room ready. After trying two times before to check in that’s when they finally let us go to the room, but not before saying that the buildings air conditioning isn’t working. We tried to leave and get another hotel, but due to needing a baby crib and it being so late we were unable to so we had to stay there. The room was hideously decorated, had holes in the curtains, dirty stains on the rug, and the furniture was falling apart. Since the a/c was broken we had to open the windows and could hear everything. A party was going on at the corner till 5am so no sleep for us with a baby. Next night, a party across the way that yet again made soo much noise there was no sleeping. I ended up closing the windows and sleeping in 85 temperature to semi no hear the noise. Breakfast was terrible, bread and crossiants in a bag and hard boiled eggs. With everything that happened they offered free breakfast, but I already purchased the rate with it included and was told they couldn’t refund me. I will calling and emailing until I receive some sort of compensation, but was told by two staff that it was “impossible” to refund us because we went through an outside agency, being Expedia. I will also be contacting Expedia to see what they can do to help me. Again, worse experience I’ve had at a hotel. Do NOT stay here.

First the reception should have found a solution for an arrival earlier, so lack of experience. For the A/C yes it is not on because in Paris it is less than 25° outside, but you are right during the WE there are a lot of people outside during the night, and with the windows opened, it may be difficult to sleep. The perfect location for the perfect stay
Amazing few days spent in Paris, we came out for a special birthday and have left with nothing but fond memories. The Hotel was perfect, the staff are attentive however don't go over the top. The rooms were a good size for a city centre hotel. All the beds were perfect, its nice to have a proper bed for two children stopping. Rather than pull out beds. The location was great for getting around Paris, everything is walkable or just hop on the Metro.

Super hotel in a great location
We are frequent vistors to Paris and this hotel is a hidden treasure in this beautiful city. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we consider them friends . The location is perfect approx 10/20 mins walking to most of the landmarks . We have stayed here many times and have highly recommended this hotel to friends. They too are off the same opinion.

Bedbugs has nothing to do with hotel quality. you can find them in 1* or 5* hotels... Bedbugs travel in your luggages. World most infected city is New York. So you can imagine that bed bugs travel with you in all the world. Your Review is anonymous. who are you? In wich room have you been? When? We take VERY SERIOUSLY, the problem of bed bugs. The hotel is regularely inspected, and when it happends, we always take strong action. Never we could accept, to give you a room with bed bugs. Sorry anyway, if something happend. This hotel is very charming, very French. The old-fashioned rooms are clean and comfortable as well as gorgeous. The decor is very striking. The people working there—especially Lea at the front desk—are warm, helpful, and cheerful. They give you a sense of belonging. The breakfast is varied and excellent served in a festive breakfast room. The bed was perfect. I won’t stay anywhere else. The location too is great, within walking distance of several desirable spots in Paris. This is a superb hotel.

Great location. Warm welcome at Reception. Lounge area very attractive. Just the way you would expect a Montmartre based hotel to look. Lots of red velvet, swags and tails. Bedroom comfortable but decorations a little scuffed around the edges. Bed was a little hard.Bathroom large and well appointed. Nice big balcony was very nice.TV channels very limited for those that only speak English.Good value.Woukd visit again.

Had a very enjoyable 2 night stay here. Hotel staff all very helpful, and breakfast was great. One issue with the maid removing half a bottle of wine from the fridge, but reception sorted this within 5 minutes - same wine brought back!! Nicely situated hotel with character. I'd stay here again.

The desk staff are helpful. Centrally located in the city so getting around was not hard. The room was clean. I slept well. The hotel is quiet. I would not recommend the breakfast unless it is included in your price. There are many places to get breakfast nearby.

Comfortable hotel in very convenient location with great character. Reception staff very helpful. Close to many great restaurants. Easy walking distance to Palais-Royal area and Montmatre. Impressive interior design and furnishings in room. Great stay.

There was no air conditioning in temperatures around 95 F. Extremely hot and humid. A fan was given to us, but website says AC. They said it ‘was not turned in yet’. Absolutely miserable experience. Tiny room with character. But don’t expect them to call you a taxi.

Dear Anonymous Guest. Sorry, you are probabely speaking about the wrong hotel. Our AC is 100% operationnal, and turned on all over the year. Guest select himself the temperature. Of course, we call taxis as soon it is requested I really thing this review was not for our hotel.
