Very disappointing. The room 606 was ice cold and the heating did not work. Not sure why it’s been given to guests in winter without any heating. Yes I read the reviews before booking but did not expect an ice cold room with broken sockets to be provided to me.

Quiet, clean, comfortable. Staying for several weeks, I moved to a different room: lots of space, desk, side table. Staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. Only point to improve: more choices at the breakfast buffet would be good like scrambled eggs, charcuterie etc. But no big deal. Affordable. I learned the hotel will go through a major renovation in March and may be closed for a few months. I hope it will reamin affordable.

The hotel is so in need of renovations it is scary! Was told I was upgraded- can’t imagine from what?? Potential if they were interested- but staff that I enter acted with were pleasant.

We booked this property last minute because the AC in the place we were staying was not working. Upon walking in the lobby and noticing the torn and dirty furniture we knew this was a midtake. The rooms smelled horrible and the AC didnt work.here either. We left immediately.

We stayed here because the hotel was half the price of hotels in the Latin Quarter or the Marais. We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel, and by the cleanliness and neighborhood. It's a 30 minute walk to the Latin Quarter, the Louvre, Notre Dame and Musee d'Orsay, a 10-15 minute walk to the Luxembourg Gardens. Located on two Metro lines, and a 15 min. walk to the train to Charles de Gaulle (a 30-45 minute train ride leaving 5-6 times an hour). Many good restaurants just outside the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. On the first morning there was no water at all from the cold water faucet in the shower. We were given a new room when we returned in the evening. Both shower curtains had mold and mildew. The first, a good amount; the second, little. Still, the hotel surely knows about the mildew, and surely knew about no cold water coming from the cold water faucet in the shower. Nevertheless, the staff immediately promised to give us a new and better room (at 9 AM in the morning), but it would not be ready until 2 pm. When we came back in the evening, we did get a bigger and better room for our next three nights. The staff was very accommodating and understanding, and overall we were happy with our choice.

During check in, I was met by a really creapy male receptionist. Easy check in and headed to the room. Bed sheets were new but where as rough as sand paper. See photo. No hot water. The receptionist said I could shower in the room next door. No hot water, called again and I was told the water was warm enough. Not warm at all. Never going back there.

Excellent location for restaurants, bars & local shops. Metro only 3 minutes walk away. Room desperate for upgrade. Hallways tired looking. Friendly staff .

Understaffed management did not change over our room. When we inquired at front desk, the attendant was the only person on duty in the hotel. Asked if he could bring up some towels which he did 3 hours later in the evening.

Am a regional director, spend 15 days in hotels all around the world, I can assure you that this was my worst experience ever in my life, Super dirty and smelly rooms, super uncomfortable mattress (I had sever pain in my back after 3rd night) the elevator went out if service for 2 days, faults fire alarms in the morning, Complete mess, I booked with breakfast then during check in the employee told me am not sure if included, I don’t know! The smell was killing me, never try this hotel

Great location, old but good value.
The neighborhood is amazing, with lots of options for both casual and formal eating, and close proximity to both the regional rail (RER) and the Metro. The hotel and room itself is small, with no-frills. Our room was more dated than what you see in the photos, but despite that was in great condition and perfectly functional. The bathrooms are small, but as to be expected in Paris. The breakfast was great, with a typical European spread of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, egg, etc.

Watch your belongings! They steal.
I had my EUROS stolen by the cleaning staff! They were in my purse when I left! I didn’t place the do not disturb sign and went about my day. I came back to find my room cleaned, including my Euros that were in my purse. The manager said he spoke with the maid and she denied it! Well, of course she did! I won’t be back to this hotel.

I think it is not fare your advertisement but I understand that it is not acceptable to think of having being stolen even of 20euros by a maid. But do you think she would do it and may loose her job for this ridiculous amount ? The maid who cleaned your room works with us for a long time without any problem but your claim is memorised but hope it will not be useful for another one. And how could you say that you will not come back when you decided to extend your stay with us ? So it is clear that we ask our guests to watch their belongings at the hotel but as well outside, as cash money is nowhere secured and reimbursed by insurance. it's perfect location, convenient with restaurants and tourist spots and public transportation. The hotel is not super duper new, but what upsets me a little bit is that the room seems quite a lot bigger on the photo, and we found a damaged hole on the bathroom door. Overall the stay is alright and staff are friendly.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Rooms a little small but functional. Convenient for metro and train to CDG airport. Safe location but a bit of a walk to main attractions.

Great location
Great location! Nice and old hotel. The room is very spacious but unfortunately the hair dyer was broken. Front desk staff did their job but ervice was not very friendly. The breakfast was average at most. Overall a nice hotel

Great location for vacation
The location is very good, its easy to get there from the airport by RER and an Uber trip from hotel to the airport was about 80 Euros. During our stay it started getting warmer and when we asked the concierge how to turn on the AC he got all annoyed and told us they would not be switching from heating to cooling and to just open our windows. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but there is a nice little bakery right outside with good breakfast and lunch options.

Good Location
The location of the stay was phenomenal. Very close to lots of cafes, restaraunts, bus stop & metro station. The hotel it’s self was okay. The bed was very hard, not comfortable. Also when we arrived we asked if “the breakfast downstairs was included in our stay”, we were told YES!! We were than charged per day upon check out. We also couldn’t find any water in the hotel room. We asked for bottled water at the check in counter & were told it will be stocked in our fridge when the cleaners come. That wasn’t done. We didn’t have water for 3 days!!! Otherwise it was a great location for a first time to Paris!!!

A friendly hotel in a great location.
We had a wonderful time in Paris. This hotel has a lot going for it. It is extremely well situated, being 5 minutes walk from a direct train to CDG airport. It is in the heart of Montparnasse, inexpensive, rooms have very good beds and a little kitchenette (bring own basic utensils). Rooms are quiet, being well glazed. The staff are friendly and helpful. Toiletries are good. Breakfast in a basement dining room is plentiful and has hot food as well as a good range of all usual breakfast choices. The hotel is not luxurious. Room could do with refurbishment, fixtures and fittings are quite well worn, but the important things are all there and for the price, you cannot complain. The only irritating thing for us was the keycards that fail, meaning you have to get it re-programmed at reception. Not good after a hard day's sightseeing! Overall though, the hotel is great for the money and we would happily stay there again.
