Two thumbs upPosted 04-Dec-2013
The hotel staff was as awesome as the location. Located only a couple minutes (walking) to the tower as well as the metro. Yes, there was construction going on during the day, but thats during the day when you should be out experiencing all Paris has to offer. Only BAD thing was the price of breakfast (25€/person); however there were some good restaurants near the metro.

Wonderful hotel next door to Eiffel Tower!Posted 10-Nov-2013
Wonderful greeting and service on a rainy autumn night. Hotel is being renovated, our room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Complimentary breakfast a real standout with full array of eggs, meats, fruit, yogurt, breads and heavenly croissants. Great coffee and service! Only down side new bathroom was beautiful but included a half glass door that made showering slightly difficult. Still shower head was good and water hot and plentiful. Desk offered a wonderful place for dinner our last night with gorgeous views of Eiffel. Hotel well located easy walk to bateau bus on seine and on off bus to get to all sights. Had a great time!

Very good location near to Eiffel TowerPosted 03-Nov-2013
Pros: Staff very attentive and made a lot of effort to be welcoming
Cons: Hotel should be very good when renovation complete.
Location: The hotel very near the Eiffel tower, a pick up point for the river bus and a pick up point for the tourist bus as well as a number of good restauants
As we approached the address of the hotel we became very concerned as it seemed to be a building site. We found that a large section of hotel is subject to major refurbishment so only part was in use. However the reception staff were very welcoming and explained what was taking place and how this would affect the stay. (eg no restaurant facilities other than breakfast and the times the building work was taking place). The room was very good and we did not hear any building work taking place. The buffet breakfast was good with a wide range of items to choose from. We did not use the 24 hour room service so cannot comment on thant

Not fit for purposePosted 01-Nov-2013
Pros: the staff were helpful and very friendly
Cons: cleanliness and noise level
Location: near the Eiffel Tower
We were looking forward to a comfortable stay at the Pullman Tour Eiffel as I had been there several times on business travel, but unfortunately we arrived at a construction site. It is noisy and dirty with footprints and construction debris littering the corridors. The breakfast room in the basement is shabby and there are no lounge or bar facilities on site. Parts of the corridors weren't lit and/or littered with construction debris and dirt. I wouldn't recommend going there until the refurbishment is finished (apparently by summer 2014).

Good location close to Eiffel TowerPosted 30-Oct-2013
Pros: It was close to where my meeting was being held
The hotel was undergoing major refurbishment which had resulted in facilities such as bar and restaurant being unavailable. Receptionist directed me to 4th floor when my room turned out to be on 8th floor. Poor signage to rooms through building works on each floor. Lift was unreliable and eventually failed. My refurbished room was bland but comfortable, most English language TV channels did not work and the shower in my tastefully refurbished bathroom leaked through a poorly fitted shower screen. The temporary breakfast room was a soulless space, breakfast buffet was limited and at 7.30 in the morning many basic items needed replenishing, which did not happen for some time. Breakfast was not as good as Mercure or even Novotel.

October Paris VacationPosted 29-Oct-2013
Pros: Great location for sight seeing, and situated in a safe area of the city. The staff were excellent and helpful.
Cons: I think the hotel will be great once again when the re-model is complete, and I will stay there again after if's complete.
Location: A block to the Eiffel Tower, walking distance to Musee D'Orsay, Louvre, Arc D'Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, and a block to the Metro for transport.
I chose this hotel due to it's location and had stayed there previously when it was under Hilton management. I knew the hotel was under construction from reading comments online but thought, based on the review dates, it would be finished or nearly finished by now. In true French fashion it's far from complete. Other than room service (24 hour ) and a breakfast room on a basement floor - services were non-existent. A couple of days the elevator on our floor was out of service - although we weren't bothered by this as we were out most of the day. Also, the Construction work and noise started at a reasonable time in the day and ended early enough to not be an issue. . Our room was quite nice, as it was recently re-done - and was very spacious by European standards. Very clean and comfortable, well lit and we had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. The bathroom was nicely appointed, towels and bath products were very nice as well. The beds were very comfortable with quality linens and comfortable pillows. The fact that there were 2 chairs in the room was a nice touch, allowing you to sit somewhere besides on the bed when 2 people are in the room. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi as well as a good selection of free movies, which was good since English language TV was at a minimum.

Hotel under revovation until April 2014.Posted 29-Oct-2013
Pros: Service was pretty good. Staff was very helpful. Buffet restaurant in hotel was much too expensive.
Cons: Air conditioning not working properly. Thermostat difficult to control and could never really cool the room down to our liking.
Location: Location is great, about 1 1/2 blocks from Eiffel Tower and the Metro is within walking distance. There are several good restaurants a block away.
Because hotel is under renovation program, there were some inconveniences that we experienced. I wouldn't suggest booking until after April 2014.

Staying at the Pullman while renovation is ongoingPosted 19-Oct-2013
Pros: Staff very helpful but they need to be at this time.
Cons: Close hotel while building work is on going.
Location: Great if you want a central location
The hotel is currently being renovated and is more of a building site than a hotel where you can rest and relax. Expect it to be very noisy during the day although this stops around 6pm. With this level of work I would think it would be better to close the hotel as the staff seemed very used to disappointed guests although no apology no discounts and the hotel thinks the guests should just grin and bare it. I have to say that when finished I am sure it will be very nice not sure I would stay again though and that's the problem for the hotel, I am sure many others will think the same.
