Honestly you’re better off sleeping on a park bench or under a bridge. I’ve stayed at hostels that were in better condition. There is no elevator, which isn’t that bad, but the staircase is so narrow and steep that you have to be tiny to comfortably take your bags up the stairs. My room was in the attic (3rd floor) and my window wouldn’t lock so I got rained on while I slept in bed. The shower was dingy, moldy and the size of a sink. It was impossible to shower and not have the grimy shower curtain touch you. Save yourself and don’t do it.
Everything was pretty good but the service wasn’t that great. They gave us a bent key and then charged us after it broke after barely putting it into the key hole. They accused us of breaking it when it was already bent. The breakfast simple. Bread and cereal. The location was great though! There are local food places where you can get gelato, fruit and drinks for cheap and it’s only a 10 minute walk or less to St. Peter’s Basílica
As I've already explained before there was mould in the bathroom the furniture wasn't in good working order ... The innkeeper refused to even call a taxi for us ... and your pictures on Expedia does not depict the actual hotel ...
The hotel does not look like it's picture. It has a different name and is a hole in the wall. The owner flagged my daughter and I because we were at the right address but wondering where it was! We were covered in bed bug bites by the time we left! The fan did not work and the neighbourhood was noisy!
if i could give this place zero stars i would . Service is non existent upon arrival nobody offered to help me carry my 3 bags up the stairs all the way to the third floor . I was shocked by how tiny the room was . the ceiling wasnt high enough and I had to duck in some parts of the room . the shower barely worked and the water took forever to heat up . DO NOT BOOK HERE AT ALL COSTS AVOID
I showed up, and the room was filled with the smell of smoke. I am a non-smoker, so this was really not cool. I walked down to the store and bought air freshener. Couldn't they have done that? I never once took a hot shower. The water was tepid at best. Two days I did not take a shower at all because the water was so cold (Christmas Day being one of them). My biggest complaint is with the Wi-Fi. I was surfing the web, thinking that I was on Wi-Fi, but I (very luckily) noticed the signal had dropped. But I ended up using all the data on my plan, and that has ended up being an extremely expensive problem. When I went to the owner and asked him to reboot the router, he did, but the Internet dropped about an hour later. This happened over and over. So now I have come home to a huge phone bill. Totally unacceptable. So for them to say they have free Wi-Fi is not true. I am going to be contacting Expedia customer service to figure out how to resolve this. It's totally unfair to be charged so much by my phone company when I was told that this hotel has free Wi-Fi. It's fair to say they don't have Wi-Fi.

The hotel was not bad but it had no lift.I was given a room on the 3rd floor and had to drag my luggage up.Also the room was like in an attic and i was not happy about it but the room was clean though.I used to get lukewarm water instead of hot water and the problem did not get sorted out even after complaining to the reception. Also the location is a bit far from the metro stop of Monet Piquelle Grennelle.

It's a place to catch after touring all day
Above a middle eastern restaurant. Friendly owner good food
This is the worst hotel I have been in. The room was dirty and the bathroom also, the shower holder was broken and the paint pealed of the wall and ceiling. The bed was terrible and the door of the closet was broken. I will never stay there again and finally I give this "hotel" 0 star.
Paid 120€ for a hotel that should have been 20€. Dirty wall paper. Awful shower. Couldn't go toilet without thinking someone is watching from the window due to lack of curtain in bathroom.
Wardrobe smelt really bad. This should be a lot cheaper than it was. Actually, hotels .com shouldn't really represent awful hotels like these. Also. No parking. Nightmare
Friendly and welcoming staff. We took our German Shepherd on New Years Eve and the staff couldn't help enough. Even let us eat in resteraunt and see in the new year with the dog.

Not quite walking distance to the Eiffell Tower. But it's in the area. No ac in the rooms. You get what you pay for, and for the price I would stay again
dirty room, not one which I booked in shelves wipes with someone's blood, failure of wi-fi, the problem is reported rude responses owner, got a better room but no hot water
Convenient location but very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Dust everywhere; you could clearly see layers of dust on the telephone; balls of dust on the en-suite floor. There was what appeared to be a Cigarette burn on the bed cover. The water was frequently cold & there was only a bath with a shower head in the en-suite; as a 6 foot tall man, I found this awkward as the attic-like roof was quite low & it proved difficult to stand up in the shower.
This might have been worth it for €50, not €85. Room was dank as was the bathroom and water pressure poor. Moved to Baldi hotel when my daughter joined me and it was 200% better value
The hotel was what I would have expected for a 2 star budget stay in Paris and was adequate for my needs. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom also was clean (fully tiled) with good quality towels. I only used the hotel to sleep (i.e. did not take any breakfast at the hotel). The reservation for some would be the absence of a lift - 17 stairs to the 1st floor, another 19 stairs to the 2nd floor and to my room, another 19 stairs to the 3rd floor. However, good value for the price.

I checked into this hotel for two nights. I requested a twin room and got one on the 4th floor with a view of the back of other buildings. There is no real front desk as check-in counter is bedside the counter of a restaurant. I guess the owner runs both businesses by himself. He simply charge my card for two nights and gave me a key to my room. There is no elevator, so I have to bring up my own luggage. The room is a bit larger than comparable hotels. But the hallway is dark and I have to grope to get the key in the door. Inside, the nightstand drawers are breaking apart and the cabinet door needed work. The toilet flushing valve is leaky and I have to shut the toilet door the whole time so I don't hear the pitty pat especially at night.
The place is a dump!!! Maybe a good stay for young backpackers, it is not the place for mature travellers. No lift....had to lug heavy suitcases up and down three flights of narrow, winding stairs. Walls paper thin....kept up all night by loud, foreign speaking neighbors. Sheets and towels were clean, staff friendly. Room small (not unusual for Paris), very sparsely furnished.

not good enough service
We were overcharged 5 euro according the price we had booked. The amount was taken cash before accommodation. Any way this was not a big problem for me. Just bad impression. Internet was mentioned, but you can only see it in range from time to time. Couldn't use it actually.
Everything is good, Rooms on the third floor are somewhat small, but still pretty good for sleeping purposes. However it's not so easy to get there if you have big luggage, bc of no elevator in the hotel, but you need to do it only once, so it's not a big trouble. Also, it's quite close to Commerce metro station, so it's easy to get anywhere you want and Eifel Tower is walking distance (well, around 1.5km away, but it was fine for me).
Just the basics - Poor customer service - You get what you pay for.
This hotel is owned and operated by the owner of a Lebanese restaurant. The check-in desk is about 2 feet wide located behind the bar off the restaurant. The hotel name is not very clear and obvious from the street. The hotel owner was harsh/short/abrupt when we enquired whether this was the location of the hotel.
There were winding stairs to get to the room. The room was could use some updating. However, it wasclean and had just the basics. The shower head holder was broken so we had to hold the shower head in hand while showering. The bathroom was clean. They were skimpy on the shower gel and soap. No shampoo or lotion was given. The telephone did not work. The t.v. worked.
Major downpoint: the electrical plugs! After a day of walking around I could not charge my cell phone or camera batter because they had electrical plugs different from Canada and I could not use my adaptor that I was using in England. I approached to the owner to see if he had some adaptors. After waiting 5 min. for him to get off the phone with his friend, he abruptly and unapologetically said 'No!'.
The hotel served the purpose (i.e., sleep and shower only) but don't choose this hotel if you're looking for amenities and to leave with a warm fuzzy feeling. It was about 8 min. walking distance from the 'Commerce' subway station. A market, bars, banks, bakeries, pharmacy, restaurants are in the are.
This hotel is downright disappointing. It's listed as in the "Montparnasse (train)" area, but in reality, it's a LONG walk (2 miles) from the train station. There's no close metro station nearby, either. What's more, the hotel is hard to find when looking for it. From the street view, your only clue to the hotel name is on a tiny restaurant banner. The first floor of the hotel is a noisy restaurant. There is no elevator so I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. The room itself was TINY. There was no air conditioning. The attic was sloped so I had to duck to get into the room. The bed's comforter was dirty. The heat was unbearable so I left as soon as I checked in.

good - cheap, internet was ok, the towels were big, and the neighborhood is outside of most tourist spots, metro station, post office, grocer, restaraunts and laundry were close.
bad - The bathroom had mold in the grout of the tiles, the bed was two single beds pushed together, no air conditioning, no shower curtain, the street outside and the restaurant below could be loud at times and a ten pm curfew.
