Don't be fooled by the picture on the website of this hotel, the facility is dirty. Our first room smelled of dried vomit, by the 2nd night I had to ask to be moved to a different room because even our clothes are smelling like dried vomit. The room had 1 garbage can, no amenities at all whatsoever. I will never stay on an Ibis Hotel again.

The staff and location was great. We had a very pleasant stay. Not the biggest rooms but very cozy with great fixtures that take advantage of the small space. The elevator helped as well. We will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Paris.

Localização perfeita
Ótima localização, café da manhã muito bom (acordavamos de madrugada com o cheiro do croissant no forno 😋), staff mto atencioso, nos ajudou em tudo, cama extremamente confortável e tudo muito limpo. Fiquei 4 noites em um quarto pequeno mas me ofereceram trocar para um maior no dia seguinte. Wi-fi mto bom para trabalhar. Recomendo para poucas noites pela falta de utensílios como copo ou pratos e frigobar.

Good little hotel in Republique
Great location, easy access to metro and only a short walk to much of the cities sights and interesting areas. Plenty of good places to eat and a good night scene. Room was small but functional, clean and a lovely comfy bed. I travelled alone for a work trip and an ideal choice. Would not recommend for double occupancy and space is at a premium. Would use again

Just want to say that this is a terrible hotel chain. The cleaning person broke our luggage and stole money from it. The manager didn't want to take responsibility and I we had to go to the police by ourselves with no help whatsoever from the hotel staff. The manager (Gregoire) mentioned that I had to deal with their insurance because the cleaning services are outsourced. There wasn’t a safe in the room and nobody informed us about the option of using the hotel safe. The fact the hotel clean their house while we got rob from their staff is unacceptable. Please do not ever stay in any of the ibis as they don’t care about their guests. This happen at the beginning of our trip and to lose money, ruined our vacation.

Long weekend away
Hotel was in a great location, perfect for a weekend away - however room was very small so wouldn’t recommend for longer than a few nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, bathroom could do with a bit of an improvement.

Excellent location, staff was very pleasant and helpful. I stayed for two days/one night before meeting up with my family, and the standard room was just what I needed. All was clean and felt new. The small room had a good layout, bathroom and shower were comfortable.

Bijou characterful hotel close to transport
The hotel is bijou and friendly, close to metro and major stations. The rooms are compact, with character and charm. If you want a base from which you can explore the French capital city, but don't want to pay for acres of hotel room, this is a good choice to start with.

Located close to Republic Square but small rooms
Chose this hotel because of the location and the Ibis brand. The location is great - close to Republic Square but rooms were small and the hotel feel so not as good as other Ibis hotels I have seen in Munich, New Delhi and Bangalore.

Nice hotel, in a nice location.
Nice hotel, in a nice location. Close to tube and walking distance to the Louvre. If you get a room facing the main road, you may hear a bit of noise, however it did not bother us. A fantastic bakery is right around the corner as well.

Very clean hotel and rooms! Very close to the metro, there are many supermarkets near the hotel. The room is really small, there is no closeth and the air conditioning is not very good. But very good price, great location and nice stuff!

Small but nice, clean, and convenient
The location was good; there were TONS of restaurants and shops within walking distance and it was only a couple blocks to the metro station, and 2 or 3 metro stops to the Gare de Nord station. The room was nice enough but very small for 2 people with full luggage. The bed was comfortable, queen sized. The bathroom was nice and the shower had a full door which seems to be a rare thing in Europe. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. They assisted with directions and accommodated our requests for extra towels and an extra pillow. We did not eat breakfast, so I can not rate it, but we had the complimentary coffee. They had a machine with several different types - expresso, cafe a laít, cappuccino, etc. There was free WiFi and it worked well.

Decent Hotel close to Paris attractions
I only had one day stay in Paris and this hotel was the perfect choice for me. Room was small but confortable and cozy. For longer stays, I would def. recommend bigger rooms.

A gem in La République
The hotel is in a fabulous area - quiet, clean and with lots of cafés, restaurants, shops and just a minute away from the metro. The hotel is clean, spacious, friendly and the breakfast is well worth it.

Good unexpensive hotel in Paris
Location is great just near by metro Republique. Small hotel and small rooms but new and clean, perfect for a couple of nights. Wifi is working fine. Staff is friendly. Nice small restaurant for breakfast. Very good price/quality

Great budget hotel in Paris
Close to metro station with multiple lines, nicely off from the tourism centre, a bit tight but clean and well-organized room, msny shops and esting options... what else can I ask for, considering what I paid? Also, the big squate of Republique statiue is another fun place to hang out. I will definitely go back without hestitation.

Right by Republique train station
Hotel room was small, but efficient for two people. Room and bathroom windows opened which allowed for a nice street view. Completely recommend for anyone looking for something simple.

Excellent Location .. Great staff
This maybe a small hotel with small rooms.. but that's Europe. The staff was incredibly helpful, rooms were neat, bathrooms clean, beds comfortable, and we close to the Metro, restaurants, and a lot of amenities. I would dedinitely recommend this place.

Boutique Hotel Feel with Brand Confidence
I booked this hotel for it's central location combined with a low price. I have been told about and have experienced the high standards of French hotels (a 2 star French hotel can be more akin to a 3.5 star UK hotel) but was still pleasantly surprised by the Ibis Ave de la Republique. It has the boutique feel of some of the independent hotels around Paris, but you have the brand confidence of Ibis and Accor Hotels. This allows you to earn loyalty points and achieve rewards for your stay. The room me and my partner had was on the top floor (4) and was best described as 'cozy'. However for a 3 night stay, this wasn't a problem. The bed was confortable and clean. The decor was tasteful and modern, but with a rustic feel offered by the exposed beams on the ceiling. The bathroom was modern and clean and everything worked well. There was everything one would expect from a hotel room in Paris but without the mod cons a more expensive room would offer (it is an Ibis after all). As for location, it was great for the price. You are about 5 minutes walk from Republique square, which has much to offer in its own right, and also has one if the best-connected metro stops on the network, meaning the rest of the city is within easy reach.
