We had a very pleasant stay and the staff was very friendly. Room was very small but just fine for the two of us. Now, the bathroom was ridiculously small and uncomfortable.

Everything was great except the rooms are very very small and can only accommodate 2 persons not even a child with them. Bathroom usage for an average height and built could be challenging

Excellent option for me, I traveled by myself, room is small but I have everything that I need, a confy big bed, a bathroom and a really helpfull staff, convinient location not to close to the downtown, bur close enough to be able to access everything in Paris

The hotel exceeded our expectations for the room, staff and breakfast. Everyone was very helpful and the location was ideal near Le Fourche. Room was larger than expected and the evening breeze was perfect. The breakfast eggs rivaled the Ritz Carlton and we didn’t eat again until dinner. We would absolutely stay here on future trips to Paris.

The woman at the reception was very aggressive in dealing with our situation from the moment we walked in. No hospitality skills at all. The bed was very comfortable, good size double bed. Very little room to move in the room and the bathroom is ridiculously small. If you are even a little overweight you will have trouble using the toilet or even being in the bathroom at all.

Nice Hotel great price
Hotel was great can’t complain for the price also the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the downstairs room which was a great size, the bathroom was decent too. Only Issues were the windows literally opened out to the dining area and as we had a room on the bottom floor you’d get to see everyone and they could see you. Not a problem if you’re out all day and have the curtains closed. Not only that you could hear the staff at 5 in the morning setting up food which lasted a few hours. Also the mattress was a bit lumpy and the safe didn’t work which they couldn’t fix. But besides that was a nice hotel and a great trip.

The shower was set to extremely hot/scalding and needed to be fixed by technician. Since it was the weekend, they couldn't fix until Monday, my third day. There was no apology. The fire alarm went off twice because someone was smoking in their room which isn't the hotel's fault. They apologized but it wasn't necessary. My first room had an inoperable safe and I switched rooms. The second room had a new operable safe but the reception didn't know how it worked. I googled it. I didn't try the breakfast. The room was very clean and big for European standards and handicapped accessible but on the first floor and you could hear everything in the hallway all night long. Most staff were polite but I did have to ask about the shower problem three times and one young lady lost her patience with me. I did choose not to switch rooms on the third and hoped that the shower be fixed. Fine neighborhood.

Friendly neighbourhood
This hotel is located in a friendly neighbourhood. It was easy to arrive from the CDG airport. I took a train from the airport to the NOrd train station. From the train station I took a bus and it arrived just a few steps from the hotel! There are a lot of nice restaurants & small shops around the hotel. It took me around 30-40 min to walk to the Arc de Triomph. I did not have breakfast at the hotel. There is a big supermarket just opposite to the hotel. There are many of grocery stores and bakery shops nearby. The hotel receptionists are friendly. My only criticism is the toilet is very small. But at least I have my own toilet/ bathroom.

Good hotel, but cleaning the rooms can be improved
A good hotel, the room was a little too small - virtually no space to pass between bed and closet. Cleanliness - space to improve, I found under the bed a plastic glass with cigarettes stumps, daily cleaning not doing a great job in general. That was not expected for a 3 stars hotel @7:30 AM - garbage collection time outside.

Staff didn't speak English which made checking in a bit difficult. Had a good laugh communicating through Google translate though! My partner and I were on holiday to explore Paris so the room wasn't too important to us since we knew we wouldn't be spending much time in it. That being said, the bathroom is incredibly small. The area the hotel is located in isn't the nicest area for sure but it's close enough to central Paris that it's prices make it worth it.

Nice hotel good location
All good - staff polite and friendly - good location - however the breakfast area was literally outside our room door ! So were woken up at 6.15 am by loud voices and a small child screaming - Ioud enough to think they were IN the room. Do not stay in room 2! The room itself was great albeit it too hot and very flat pillow - shame about the room We were allocated - I’m Sure it would have been fine on the first floor. If you stay I guarantee you will need more than 1 pillow each so request one on arrival!

Happy at Hotel Meridional!
Hotel Meridional was exceptional - friendly, professional staff - clean and calm - cool decor. The area is fascinating - walkable through the Batignolle historic quarter, and to Sacre Coeur going eastward. I walked as far as the Marais, back along the Seine, and up past the Arc dear Triumph, catching a quick Metro journey at St Lazare.

My first experience with Meridional
I can't help by arriving early in the morning, around 9 am. Exhausted from a long flight, the room I reserved with double bed and a larger bathroom did not get what I reserved for. The reason another guest was still there and they don't know what time this guest going to check out. Their policy is 2.30 pm. The receptionist told me to leave my luggage and I can tour around the city until the room is available. I told her I am too tired and need a room right away. So, instead I got a smaller room with a small bathroom with a leaking shower hose that spray every where. It is no use for me to let them know what is the problem. They would not understand. Breakfast was all right. Overall stay very disappointing. Next time I will stay in a better hotel with more customer oriented.

As you noticed you arrived early around 8.30 - 9 am and we are fully booked the day before. The check in time is indeed 02.30pm and the check out is noon. At your arrival, I personnaly propose you to keep your luggage but as your are exhauted you asked me to give a room. I told you that the only room available was a tiny room with a single bed and a tiny bathroom and you said it will be fine as you're single.Our reception is available 24hours in order to answer the request our guest. Hotel is nice and cozy, friendly and accommodating staff members - we had no problems leaving the luggage in secure place there ( we arrived in the morning way before check in time) and also were able to actually register and check in around mid nite or so after walking all day around Paris. Walking distance (30 min and uphill :) to Montmartre and easy metro ride anywhere in central Paris. I would stay there again. Just don't take the airport shuttle if they recommend it- it was 25 min late and had a few stops on the way to the airport, it was nerve racking. Take Uber - it's a few euro cheaper and faster, and get to you in a few minutes

Hotel is Nice close to Metro
Nice hotel we stayed there for 6 nights, it’s 20 minutes metro train ride to most of the attractions. Staff are friendly, room is ok it’s a little bit small but I found the bed comfortable, bathroom is so small and hard to move around, breakfast is good for 13 euros but there are so many patisseries in the area, overall I recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel - good value for money.
Clean hotel with helpful staff speaking English, Spanish, French & Italian from memory. Only 35 mins on the Metro (which is a 5 minute walk away) from Eiffel Tower. Parking nearby at a multi-storey (€30 per day) which is a little expensive but to be expected in Paris. Would stay again.

20 minutes to inner city Paris
Breakfast was extremely expensive and the food is not replaced if it is within one hour of breakfast ending; so make sure you get there when it opens. No Air conditioning, it might be uncomfortable in the summer. Other than that, the bathroom was a decent size and the room was very clean and the bed beds are super comfy. The closest metro station is a 5 min walk and there is a grocery store conveniently located across the street. This hotel was perfect for experiencing a non-touristy visit. If I want to see the sites of Paris (Eiffel Tower, The Louvre Museum, etc.) I would probably stay closer to the inner city next time.

This hotel is ok if you need somewhere for a maximum of 2 nights. When we arrived we were given room 27 with 2 twins and the room was so small we could barely get our suitcases open, not to mention the floor was slanted giving us the feeling of being in a tiny cabin on a listing ship. The bathroom was a matchbox and there was mold on the wall. We complained to the concierge and he said he couldn't do anything until the manager arrived in the morning, since they were fully booked. In the morning we were moved to a different room on the ground floor. The manager was understanding and invited us for breakfast in the hotel the following day. The room was a vast improvement and much more spacious, it felt updated and it was clean. The bathroom was much larger, however it was hard to shower without soaking the entire bathroom as there were no curtains or enclosures. Since we were on the ground floor it was very noisy, it would have been unbearable if we hadn't had earplugs. The room key also did not work 95% of the time, the only plus was that the front desk was right in front of our room, so we didn't have to go far to rectify the key. Aside from the complimentary breakfast for our inconvenience, we didn't take the hotel breakfast. The offerings were minimal and the price was not on par with what is offered. I would suggest walking out to Avenue de Clichy and having a more affordable enjoyable breakfast in one of the many cafés.

Staff are always helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really nice - a good selection and nice coffee and fresh orange juice. Rooms are fairly small as so many are in Paris but it had all I needed. Close to bus and metro. Check breakfast times though as times given to us were incorrect for weekends. One weird thing was that housekeeping moved all my stuff into my friends room thinking I was only staying one night, not two!

A Stay of 2 Weeks: positive experience.
Our room was OK, very small, with few functional pieces of furniture. No dresser, no drawers in desk, etc. It was on the street side, and a bit noisy. We had to tell some kids playing at 1 am to go home. It would have been nice to have an English channel other than the news. ...and then there was the heat wave, no AC, the hotel was nice enough to give us a fan, but when it was really hot, it was uncomfortable. The second week was better as it had cooled down and the open windows helped cool us down. On a positive note, it was close to the market, patisserie, brasserie, laundromat, and the metro. The breakfast was good and we partook several times. I would stay here again, as I am now familiar with the area.

This is a nice and affordable hotel near several Metro stops and nice restaurants. It's in a relatively-central location in Paris and pretty close to attractions like Moulin Rouge. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and you can ask for a room cleaning if needed.

Pleasant hotel in an interesting area
This hotel met my top priority: a clean and comfortable bed that gives comfort over a week long stay. Yes, the bathroom was quite small; but that was the only possible fault you will find here. Also, the hotel is in an interesting and safe area with plenty of activity.
