“Definitely recommended”

A lovely hotel in a great location - we could see the Eiffel Tower from the hotel window and there was a metro stop within a minute's walk of the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was small but very nice - the room was of a very high standard all in all. My sister and I were very pleased with the hotel. There were also a nice range of cafes nearby and a great supermarket. The only very minor gripe was that the receptionist on duty at the time of check out wasn't the friendliest person we encountered! The receptionist at check-in was very friendly though. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good quality budget hotel.

“Great place to stay for a short city break”

Great value for money, excellent location only 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and also a 2 minute walk to the metro station with excellent links into central Paris. Great neighbourhood to stay in with numerous cafes and brasseries close by.

“Nothing Disappointing about the Derby Eiffel!”

A basic hotel but fabulous location, easy to get everywhere, safe and central district, Metro on doorstep. We stayed in room 54 and had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely stay in this hotel again, Flirt The Cafe next door offers lovely breakfast for 7E50, including freshly squeezed OJ, found this best breakfast for value, quality etc in local area. Yes, the shower in the room is small, think my husband would end up fighting with it, but it's Paris! No tea or coffee in room but again, not totally unexpected for such a basic hotel. Towels changed daily, beds made and linen changed on regular basis.Overall we had a fantastic stay in Paris and staying in this hotel was definitely a good decision- so much so that I'm hoping to be there again in just a few weeks! One must in Paris- Go see "How to Become Parisian in One Hour"- just brilliant!

“Great location, nicely looked after and a warm welcome”

Right in the centre of Paris and a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower. Rooms were relatively small, but very well maintained and quite comfortable. The lady on reception was lovely and very welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

“Reliable and friendly hotel.”

This was our second stay at this hotel and it has not let us down. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a room on the fifth floor which was quite light. It faced the street but this is a quiet road despite the proximity to the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, so there was no noise problem. The nearest metro is about 2 minutes walk and there are a couple of other routes within 10 minutes walk which give good options. Breakfast was not included in the room rate and it suited us to pay for it as we were only there for one night this time. However there are plenty of cafes and resteraunts close by and a good local supermarket around the corner.

“Recommended for a cheap but pleasant stay”

This hotel gets extra merit points in my book as they are the first hotel I've stayed in that actually bothered to read and were happy to accommodate a special request. The service was very friendly and helpful with no language problems. The room was naturally small but sufficient for both me and my girlfriend and all her luggage. The bed was comfy and there were no noise problems (or complaints) from neighboring rooms. The only thing I would note is that the rooms do not look directly at the Eiffel Tower. You lean out and look at it over some trees, so the amount you can see would vary depending on what floor you were on. We were on the third floor and saw about the top third. It looked fantastic at nighttime and only 1 minute walk away means that I would highly recommend for a low-cost romantic getaway. It definitely worked for me. The metro is less than a minutes walk and there are two supermarkets if you don't want to pay for a restaurant (although note there is no kitchen in the basic room). The surrounding cafe's and restaurants are very nice and not too expensive for Paris. All up, we had a great stay.

“Great city gem”

A tidy little hotel, with all that you should expect from a 3* in the midlle of Paris. Only thing missing from total perfection were the facilities for a morning brew. Although these could be supplied if requested. Clean good size bathroom, plenty of room for luggage (although a small chest of draws might not go amiss). Very comfortable bed. The staff speak excellent English and are very poilite when you attempt French :-). Also extremely helpful in organising reservations for restaurants. The location of this hotel is spot-on. 5-10 mins stroll through the Champs de Mer to the Eiffel Tower. 150m to the metro, 200m to the supermarket/ bakers (recommended as a cheaper form of breakfast and all fresh, lovely). There are also 2 very nice Brassieres within 150-200m and a very cool bar/cafe/club called Tourville. Not the cheapest but nothing OTT for that end of Paris. In a nutshell if you are going to Paris for a long weekend or city break you could do a lot worst than stay here.

“Great location”

Very convenient for Eiffel Tower, only a 5 minute walk. Only slight negative was that there were no tea-making facilities in the room. Would definitely go back.

“Great hotel”

When we first arrived the room allocated was overlooking the courtyard in the centre of the hotel, I went to reception and asked if we could have a room with a view, within 10 minutes we were given a room with a lovely view of the eiffel tower. The hotel is brilliantly situated, the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. We would certainly return.
