Great central location. Big room with roof balcony
Loved the location in the Opera district, tugged away in a cute shopping aisle. 20-25 minutes walk to all the major sites. We got a very spacious room on the 4th floor, wiith a huge roof balcony. Air condition was so so, just local device not central. So had to use cross breeze of the fans during hot month of August.

Our room window was facing the main street and it was very noisy throughout the night and early morning. And we stayed on a weekday evening, not a weekend. The rooms are not soundproofed; I heard another guest snoring as well!

A great short stay at BW Ronceray Opera. I stayed at the property for 2 nights (Floor 2), the hotel is in a fantastic area which is close to metro station Grands Boulevards (Line 8 9) as well as walking distance to many tourist spots. The room was clean, decent size and had all the necessary provisions, we stayed in room 201 which was at the front and limited noise from the road outside. Staff friendly and helped us with all our needs, Hot breakfast is a great option, cannot fault this hotel and would book again.

Excellent value for money
The hotel’s location is perfect. The metro station next door can take you pretty much to everywhere. The prissy bus station is also quite close to take you to the airport. If you are in the mood for walking, most sites within 20 minutes of walk. Many restaurants around. AND safe! I stayed at this hotel last time I visit Paris and very satisfied; hence, directly booked with them again this time. The staff also very kind. I arrived early before 11am, and they still got me checked in with a nice room, 4th floor facing the city, great view! (Tip: the 5th floor does not have elevator; hence, if you travel with a lot of luggage, try to avoid it.) The room is small, but you are traveling in Europe and given the great price the hotel offer, it is expected. The only thing I don’t like is that the heating is far too warm; but I heard that it is the case in many hotels this winter. So not a complain towards BW itself.

The location is great with easy access to the metro. The room is reasonably quiet for the location and the price is great for being close to 4 metro lines (8&9 with a short walk to 3 to the south and 7 to the north), multiple small museums, and 15-20 min walk from the Louvre. They provided clean towels more frequently than they said they would (decreasing their eco-friendliness) but also did not replace spare toilet paper and coffee as needed. We had to go ask for more tp which they accommodated easily. There is a bakery right outside much cheaper than the offered breakfast. They have a fridge and coffee maker in the room which is great. The room keys did not work the best (especially for the hall door) but they replaced them each time we asked. You do need to know where you are going when looking for it as it is located in a passageway but if you are across the street you can see the name above the passageway. The closest metro stop is Grand Boulevard (lines 8 & 9) exit towards the Grévin Museum (passageway is to the left when looking at the museum).

Very nice view and the room is super clean. I came 1 hour before the check-in time and asked if there was any chance for the early check-in. The Asian lady front desk was a rude and not friendly at all, she kept talking on the phone for really long time before helping the line. I understand not being able to check-in early but I don’t get the attitude. Later on, there was another lady helped me when I checked-in and also checked out the next day, she was very nice, helpful and attentive.

Hotel was mediocre
The hotel is conveniently situated for cafes and shops the breakfast is abysmal so don't bother go to a cafe it’s cheaper and fresher. The place was very clean, comfortable beds etc but it was a little tired. The handrail up to our room wobbled and look like it was about to collapse furniture in the room was also very tired. Staff were pleasant enough but didn’t really need there assistance.

The room was much bigger than expected, having a mezzanine. Having a fridge was also very useful! The only negative comment would be that the door's lock was quite stiff and at times difficult to close an open, but didn't really impact on our stay. Overall a lovely room and a lovely stay.

Just an okay stay
The room was smaller than other hotels I’ve visited and the room has a strong smell of wood. This hotel does have AC for each room, but there is a big blue light that shines from the unit and makes it difficult to sleep even with the black out curtains. The water temperature was inconsistent. One day the hot water would feel room temp and another day it would be scorching hot. The bathroom itself was nice and the beds were just okay (felt a bit old). The location was really really good, but it is difficult to get in once they lock the gate. Overall, would only stay 1 night here if needed and if you want to be close to lots of restaurants, cafes, shopping areas, and such.

Rooms were decent size, but a little outdated. The mattress was not comfortable, feeling the springs of the bed. Walkable distance to shopping area, sound proofing of the room were not great, hearing other guest banging on their room doors.

AMAZING staff! Congrats!
First and most important: the staff is great! Jose, Jean and the lady who was working Sunday 2 January. They did everything they could to help us! They were just AMAZING. Also the lady (around 50 yo) who was cleaning the rooms… she was so happy and friendly and she left our room spotless! Unfortunately, as a students we could not afford to pay for a better room with a good view … (the view was really depressive… but it’s all about money in the end… I know there is some good views there). I just would like to leave here a suggestion: if is possible leave for the guests charges / adapter to cellphone. No problem at all if we have to pay a bit more this but could be great to have this option once just one usb is not enough for 2 people. :) All the rest was really good. Again: the staff is precious! Note for the guests: the hotel offer just soap in the bathrooms. So bring your stuff. (PS: the bathroom was extremely shine and bright! :)

Great place to stay, central with lots of restaurants, theaters and the metro station is just around the corner. Very clean, beautiful building with comfortable rooms, big compared to other Paris rooms. Will defenilety stay there again

The best is the location. The hotel is clean, nice and what we needed just to visit Paris by day and rest at night. The price is fair, considering Paris is quite an expensive city overall.

Good location and decent stay for Paris.
Entrance through very nice shopping "Passage", small room but comfortable bed. Door to bathroom did not shut. Location next to Musee Grévin and easy walk to main Paris attactions, and walking distance to several train stations.

Parisian Hotel at at Great Price
The hotel is centrally located on a busy tourist street with a large array of surrounding restaurants and a small supermarket in the same building. The price was very reasonable and the room has a small mini-fridge for drinks, wine, and/or snacks from the supermarket. The woman at checkout was extremely friendly/helpful, offered me coffee and called for a Taxi on my behalf. Taxi from here to the airport runs about 57 Euro (FYI) - fixed rate. There are several metro stops on this street to take you around Paris and if you enjoy walking, it’s about 25 minutes to the Louvre.

Very Disappointing. Not Recommended.
My boyfriend and I made the mistake of booking this hotel. We stayed in Room 132, for starters the rooms do not look anything like the photos. The furniture is old and the room has barely any amenities. No toothpaste, shampoo bottles were provided. They gave us one small water bottle (500ml) for a room of two people. Two of the four lightning bulbs in the room were fused and there were barely any power sockets in the room. On our second day the air conditioning stopped working and we were told it cannot be fixed until the next day. We were given a small table fan as a replacement and we're told to make a choice of whether to charge our phones or use the fan since there were not enough power sockets in the room. There were condom wrappers and used ear buds behind the headboard when I moved it to look for sockets. The bath drain was not working and had to be held up to let the water out. I felt more relaxed before my stay at this "hotel" than I did while checking out. I did not expect this from a Best Western hotel.

horrible front desk woman.
i called ahead and spoke with a really nice man. He said we could check in early and there would be no problems as the hotel wasn’t full. We arrived at 9am to check in early and the front desk woman WAS SO RUDE. She screamed at us and told us we were wrong. She ripped my passport out of my hands. I explained to her that I was told I may check in early. She said impossible and I was wrong and lying. She said the hotel was completely full. I said I was told differently. She then grabbed my luggage and when I asked when I could finally check in she relied “no”. So I was confused and asked again and she glared at me and rolled her eyes. ABSOLUTLY UNACCEPTABLE. she was so rude and so terrible to us. We walked away in shock. I have never been treated so poorly by a person at a business. We came back later and a man was there he helped us and was very kind. The woman should not be working with customers if she is going to treat them with such blatant disrespect.

First this place was difficult to find. We went inside “passage Jouffroy” and nowhere could we find a best western sign through all the shops and store fronts. Until we finally went inside “hotel ronceray”and went to 1st level. We checked in on November 22 around 10:30am we were tired and frustrated and the Asian receptionist(couldn’t remember her name) was really rude and had a nasty attitude. The hallways were narrow. After 4th level no more elevator, only stairs. Room was small, as any Paris budget hotel. Heater worked great on a cold day, almost too warm. Beds were okay. Only complaint was shower head was not attached to wall, so had to use one hand to hold shower head while other rinsing out what was in hair. overall, fix shower head issue and fix receptionist attitude issue and it’s an okay place to stay.
