“Hotel great value for what you pay”

Hotel was great. I had read all of the reviews and cannot understand when others made negative comments about cleanliness. I to have a standard and consider myself a fussy traveller. But we arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night to be greated by a very polite and sympatheic guy at the reception desk (our luggage was at JFK) Our room was always clean and very comfortable. We opted not to have our beds changed everyday as thats unrealistic. Also with our towels where we opted to choose when we wanted to have them changed I never expect too much from the free breakfast but the coffee was good. Although the pool didn't get any sun on it we were able to sit where the sun was shining for the length of time we wanted to and then cool of in the pool. Every member of the staff were always polite and very helpful. We had a great week.

“Perfect Location”

This hotel location is perfect, literally right outside the gates of Disney, easy access to and from the main roads. Breakfast is good, lots of choice and plenty of it. Only odd thing was you had to buy cream cheese for the bagels, unusual in Florida. Rooms spacious and well maintained. The hotel appearance is great, you can't miss it! Kids really enjoyed the look of the hotel. The pool is big, plenty of loungers but they could use refreshing. Overall I really thought this hotel was excellent value for money and would recommend it for families who want to stay near Disney property, although easy access to all the other parks from here.

“Great hotel, great location!”

A great hotel in a really convenient area. Close to lots of local stores for amenities and many restaurants. The hotel is on the basic side, but it is clean and tidy. Bright and colourful too, and it's easy to spot due to its big Pineapple on the side of the building! The staff were very helpful and friendly too, giving us lots of information about the local area. The hotel has free shuttle services to all off the Walt Disney World theme parks, running at various times throughout the day, the hotel staff will give you a list of times. The free shuttles do not take you to the Disney water parks, however, you can take a free shuttle to one of the theme parks and get a free Disney Transport bus from there. There is also a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Tickets are $2 per passenger, and the route we took (50) can take you to Downtown Disney, and Magic Kingdom. Overall a great hotel, which we would definitely recommend!

“great hotel”

Brightly coloured which kids loved. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Some may not like breakfast as not much variety. Only 15 mins walk to downtown Disney.... nice walk every morning! Would stat again.

“Cheap and cheerful”

You get what you pay for here - very cheap, but excellent location - very close to Disney, restaurants and small shops. Room is fine - clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom, though showing some signs of wear in some places. Lots of hot water and powerful shower. Can be quite noisy - I was next to the lift - and thin walls too, with a quite noisy a/c unit, but nothing some ear plugs can't solve! Breakfast was free, and very cheap - disposable crockery and cutlery, and I was sick of fruit salad by the end of the week, but as I say, it was free! The pool looked fine, although I didn't use it - no shade and quite basic, but open all the time. Service was fine - staff quite friendly, but not very knowledgeable of shops - I was after a particular item, and in the end the phone book was more useful than the front desk staff! Overall, excellent value for money and I would stay again.

“Perfect for anyone visiting Disney and or Universal but want good, cheap accommodation”

A nice hotel located very close to Downtown Disney, and with the free shuttle, perfect for Orlando Disney visitors. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful.

“Pretty Good”

On the whole the hotel is fine, the beds are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is more than enough to start you off in the morning, consisting of cereals, fruit juices, tea & coffee, fruit, danish's, muffins, bagels doughnuts, croissants, toast, porridge etc. My only gripe is with the transportation on offer. The shuttles are fre e so I can't complain to much but they were more than 20 minutes late on more than one occasion and the temperartures (believe it or not) were near freezing. However if there were a couple more shuttles on offer particuarly in the evening it would make a world of difference. It saves a mad dash through the crowds after the fireworks or parades. Granted that is not really the hotel's problem but it is something to be aware of if you intend to visit the parks a lot. The hotel's location is perfect if you like to eat out in the evening as there are many restaurants within walking distance and much cheaper than downtown disney.

“Good for the money”

We found this hotel ok overall, but breakfast staff were very rude and it was clear they didn't enjoy their job. Location was very close to downtown disney and was well within walking distance. Hotel rooms were very clean, but the only down side was the other residents letting the doors slam on a night time and early morning even though you could shut them easily without making a noise. We prob would stay again for the price.

“Very Basic”

Expensive for a very basic hotel. It was less hassle to purchase our own soap and shampoo because they were not replenished regularly - so many times one can ask customer services.
