"The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. "Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

"A very warm welcome from the friendly hosts who gave us some great tips for Looe's best pubs! The hotel is in a great central location overlooking the river and the town and a very short walk from the main town carpark. Our room (no.5) was large and comfortable with a handy outside seating area (in better weather!). Breakfast was very tasty with great service. "
