Had more than enough night staff and they were helpful, but next day morning in the reception there was a young staff member who was managing the reception on his own could not even understand what I said, how to reply or speak English and how to print the closing bill to say there is nothing outstanding because I paid the dinner money when we had the meal and rest of the bill was already paid up front. This staff member running round in circle not knowing what to do and wasted almost more than 45 minutes of our time and made our day VERY, VERY MISERABLE... This should not be acceptable for a four star Hotel and I hope you consider paying for the inconvenience caused by your staff!!!

Our stay at the Galway Heights Hotel may not have happened as I had booked the wrong night for accommodation! Dilshan and the team went beyond expectations and found 2 rooms for our travelling group (the last 2!)...was kind enough to show us the room and see if it met our expectations and had them both freshened up so that we could be comfortable for the night. The team at this hotel bent over backwards to help us, the room was big, comfortable and clean and the team in the restaurant were just as nice (the dining room is a work of art). The only thing to be wary of is that the rooms let in a fair bit of noise, so don't forget to pack your ear plugs!

Its more like a small boutique hotel. The facilities are limited and location is a bit inside. Its like more of a 3 star and the view is average but the staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is good but not great and the choice is limited. Its pocket friendly. Its fine for tourists with a medium bedget

Clean, friendly staff and the hotel is located away from busy area. Well maintained and pleasant to stay. House keeping was very good and the service was prompt. Very good breakfast including both continental and traditional Sri Lankan food. Only suggestion is the hotel should have a fan on hot days and minor facilities like hair dryer,

Charming small hotel with personal touch. Well looked after by Arull in the bar! Steps into the hotel despite a disabled access filter on the search but they made a temporary ramp within a couple of hours.

We were greeted warmly throughout the check in process. Our party of three booked two separate standard rooms but were "upgraded" to one big suite. Although we enjoyed the really spacious and luxurious suite, I found this a bit odd.

A Modern Hotel with warm and caring Staff
We had a very pleasant stay at the Galway Heights hotel in Nuwara Eliya. We were doing a tour of the Island so it was a very welcome stopover after leaving Gaille earlier that day. The roads are not very good in trying to get there, so you need to give yourself plenty of time. The hotel itself is a very modern building, and recently new, so it is a very nice place to stay. We were looked after so well by all the staff, and got a warm welcome, a comfy seat, and a refreshing drink, while a member of staff checked us in, which all happened so quickly that we were shown to our room in no time at all. Such fantastic service really means so much to tired guests who just want to get sorted, and get to their rooms, therefore we thank sincerely all the wonderful staff of the Galway Heights Hotel. For anyone interested in dining at this hotel, I have to say that the food is delicious, and well worth a try. We had such a wonderful young man look after us in the restaurant for all our meals. His name was Arul, and a more pleasant and friendly young man you could not find, we are so indebted to him for making our stay at the Galway Heights such a memorable one, and therefore because of his warm welcome and great attention to detail while we were there, would highly recommend this lovely Hotel and its caring staff in all departments to family and friends or anyone wishing to travel to that lovely area of Sri Lanka. Many Thanks to all from two very satisfied Irish Guests.

Lovely stay in local hotel
Nice local hotel to stay in. Staff were very welcoming and the hotel has everything you need. We enjoyed the fresh omelette cooking station in the morning! nly downside was the room was cold, but we were giving a little heater to put on.

It was great. The hotel was clean and great service. But management should brighten the hotel with flowers and decor. It was very dull and dark. No entertainment. Only one resturant which is not opened all day. Its not in the city, its deep into the forest. Its great for one night only.

Wonderful hotel with great staff
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were all great. The hotel seemed quite quiet when we stayed there. The evening buffet was absolutely brilliant, with lots of freshly cooked food from around the world. The bar was also great, although it was quite quiet when we were there. The staff at the hotel helped us to organise a trip to Hortons Plains, at a very reasonable rate with a good driver. We had absolutely no complaints about this hotel it was brilliant value for money.

Rooms are very clean and tidy. Had almost all the amenities. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Food was good; but had the same ala carte menus everyday. Therefore because we stayed there for more than 2 nights, we got bored of the same food. Suggest to change the menus at least every other day. Overall we were happy about the service.

Our room smelled bad, and no A/C, poor or no Wifi signal. Bad signal on the phone, you needed to hang out of the window to get 3G/4G coverage. Bleech stains on our laundry. Breakfast buffe a bit too pricy due to what it offers, food from the restaurant was tasty. Vegetarian Byriani was great. Staff was excellent and very helpful, 5 out of 5.

Horrible stay, worth 40usd max
Never again and don't get close. No elevator, hot water in the shower is enough for almost 1 person, the area is cold so they don't have air conditioning, but the room is very cold and they give you this tiny heater didn't hit even heat my socks. I don't know how they are rated as a 4 star hotel, even a glass for tooth brush and a face towel are missing. Worth maybe 40 usd per night no more.

Jätteskön säng och rena rum. Badrummet luktar dock mögel och känns därmed inte så fräscht. Ett stort plus för maten, såväl frukost som middag. Hotellet ligger lite avsides och hiss saknas inne i hotellet.

Wir würden herzlichst empfangen. Das Zimmer was schön groß und sauber. Anscheinend wurde das Hotel Mitte/Ende 2018 renoviert. Leider sind bereits ein paar nicht ordentlich verarbeitet, liegt wohl an deren nicht so hohen Ansprüchen. Leider sind die Zimmer etwas hellhörig aber es war zum Glück nicht allzu laut. Frühstück war super gewesen, jedoch für 16 $ p. P für diese Auswahl zu viel! Schön fanden wir es, dass uns die Rezeption bescheid gegeben hat, dass unten kurz Handwerker etwas montieren müssten und es laut werden kann. Ansonsten mit einer der schöneren Unterkünfte in Sri Lanka.
